"Y-Yeah." Stephanie says, sticking close to you.

 

I eye Stephanie and smile.

 

Stephanie smiles weakly back, though clearly still scared.

 

"Yeah, we got that. I guess Aj'll be busy, though. I think only he's really equipped to fight the light creatures." Ihra sighs, frustrated.

"I can... at a cost; I can remove their elemental abilities - but doing so also removes ours. However, none of their attacks will have any effect as long as I maintain it. They'll also be susceptible to physical weapons - but again, none of our elemental abilities will work either."

 

I eye the ice and the coals, and then ask Stephanie "Have you any idea on the condition of the victims before the supposed incident?"

 

"I-I don't think that's a good idea," Stephanie says, turning away, "I-I need t-to go do something. I'll b-be right back."

Stephanie walks off, out of sight.

It seems Stephanie's walked off, though Myria speaks up in her place.

"Both were healthy, niether suffering from any kind of illness. However, Abigail was incredibly calm, and no doubt Katie fell calm as well." Myria says.

 

"So Abigail was clipped while next to high. Did you find anything about who did it?" Ruby asks, seemingly distracted.

 

"I can only assume it's this light creature I've heard of." Myria says.

 

"That's...odd. Was there any poison or sedating fluids in them?"

 

"I doubt it. Only my kind can survive poison." Myria says, drinking a cup of what appears to be poison to prove her point.

 

"Perhaps a weak kind of poison? A poison that functions not to directly attack the life of the victim, but one that drains a victim's energy and clouds their mind, preventing clear thought."

"Which could be alchohol."

"Well, I believe they were under some kind of substance which made them so calm, but the effects of alcohol I doubt they were under." Myria says.

"Which brings me back to the conclusion that they were hit with some kind of tranquilizer."

 

"It might explain why they lost the fight, but it could be because of how fast these light creatures can be." Myria says.

 

"If these light creatures are incredibly fast, that may be how the two ended up on their opposite elements. Perhaps their attacks could not catch up with the light creatures, and they ended up hitting each other."

 

"That's certainly possible; turning your enemies against each other. However, Abigail was stabbed with a knife sharp enough to pierce her amour; the light creature must have some part in it." Myria says.

 

"Of course, that is assuming the light creature was directly involved. According to Ihra, a light creature attempted to arm her to attack Aj. There is a chance that a light creature was able to arm and persuade a vigilante into attacking Abigail and Katie who, unfortunately, are guilty of association with Aj."

 

"Well, taking that into account, maybe this light creature is trying to psychologically harm Aj so he'll be more succeptible to attack. I only hope my daughter is safe with those other guardians." Myria says calmly.

 

"Psychological warfare. Havn't seen that one in a while."
OOC: I like how when I'm using Helianthus, it's just a massive fustercluck, but when I'm using Terrae it's like "Quite lovely tea you have there, ma'am."

 

"It's quite the powerful tactic for crippling your enemies. If they're in a state of fear, they can't think straight, which is why I and my kind hang corpses in our forests." Myria explains.
