How Important Are Skill Points?

I could have sworn I read somewhere on the forums that you should only use skill points when your armor/weapon requires it because they don't make enough of a difference to bother with until you're really high level.

Is that true?

 

Soul Points are vital if you want to make a build
As for the main questline, well WHY WOULDN'T you use extra bonuses ?

 

back pre gavel you had to pay 1le to reset your skill points but now you can reset them for free so just put them in whatever suits your play style

idk I think 70% chance to dodge all damage is nice

 

i dont think you need to care about skill points on this level but i would save them if i get a better weapon that requires sp
they r rly useful for build tho
