Staffkind. It sounds lame but you could get pretty destructive with one. (Also, given Rose was able to do magic with needlekind, I could probably alchemize some sort of cool magic staff)

 

Since we're all saying what our STRIFE SPECIBI are, what would your FETCH MODUS be?

I'd personally use the THIEF modus. You can theoretically take and use anything at will, but items have a 'weight' attributed to them in a number of cards. Say, for example, a rock could weigh one card while a car could weigh 10 cards (kind of like the carry weight system in Skyrim). It's kind of like the PUZZLE modus in the sense that, with the PUZZLE modus, you need to have enough room to store everything, while with the THIEF modus, you need to have enough cards.

 

I would use the fetch modus that John uses when he combines two of them... Yes I'm lazy about this but picking an easy modus is the key to a happy unstressful life!

 

The Queuestack Array modus?

Well, he had the Stack Modus (top first), the Queue Modus (bottom first), Array Modus (Any) and the Queuestack Array Modus (Any top/bottom card from available sub-stacks)

 

So i would be a lazy ass and use the array modus cause laziness is gud

 

I guess that is a lot simpler than having fancy shmancy modi, but I think there's a limit on what exactly you can fetch with the array modus.

 

So I'm just gonna make up a modus and call it the RHYTHM GAME modus because I'm literally obsessed with rhythm games and why the hell not.

In order to take an item out, you must clear the corresponding "song chart" or at least avoid failing it, and there is a "data" meter where if it reaches 1GB you would not be able to save anymore items. A car, for instance, would be 800MB so does not leave much room for other large objects as 1GB is 1024MB. If you get a full perfect on a chart you'd be able to take any other thing out at free will at any time. It's sort of like the "Double Jump" thing in the TNT Run of Hypixel, where you can do [amount] of double jumps, but in this case, taking things out. It will be fairly hard though.

I made mine up too, and it certainly sounds interesting! Having to do some kind of DDR minigame to get items certainly sounds like an interesting FETCH MODUS

 

Yours is really cool as well, the weight system sounds pretty smart and original :P

 

It's really just Skyrim with cards instead of numbered values for items.

 

Skyrim inventory system in Homestuck would make a pretty nice addition :3

Well, people were using STRIFE SPECIBI that weren't canon, so I figured you should be able to make your own FETCH MODUS too!

 

Wallet modus because it's practical.

 

Your captchalogue modus has been allocated as the FILE MODUS.

All captchalogue cards must be filed appropriately into various extremely specific, pre-set folders, and you must access each folder within itself to obtain an item, and then re-file it into the same folder, similarly to dragging files from folders-within-folders as computer files. If you file a card in an incompatible folder, however, the entire deck dumps and you must re-captchalogue all items.

The modus, however, is extremely efficient, as each folder comes pre-set with 10 captchalogue cards! Gaining new ones does not allow you to expand the folders, but instead adding more of a kind of folder. For instance, if you wanted to carry more than 10 nut-related items, you could allocate a captchalogue card as LEGUMES2, allowing you ten more slots for specifically legume-related items, such as cashews or peanut butter. But, even this has its limits, as each folder is restricted to an 8-character name limit. So, if you were some kind of douchebag who needs to carry more than 1000 legume-related items, those last folders would be labelled as some incomprehensible bullshit like LGUMS137.

The final feature of the modus is that you can toggle certain levels of granularity within the folders, depending on your preference. Going back to the legumes example, that is on maximum granularity. However, if you were to set it to minimum granularity, it would be simply sorted under FOODS. This presents a potentially more cluttered inventory, but quicker access, as you haven't got to click through all of those layers of folder to find the thing you want...unless, of course, you have a lot of folders labelled FOODS, in which case...

Better start practicing those sweet organizational skills, dawg.
