Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Hm, maybe. They might need your plant powers for something," I say, "We should go check on the others, anyway. Make sure they're alright."

I grow a pair of Shadow Wings and fly off back toward the city.

 

Ihra flies behind you, albeit a fair distance away.
A loud, startling groan turns out to be Rineth turning over on his side, still clearly asleep.

 

I fly up high before gliding back toward the city quickly, keeping an eye on Ihra to make sure she's alright.

 

She checked on Rineth, but that's it. It's only a few minutes until you're both back at the city.

 

I check around the city gates, before rushing inside and motioning Ihra to follow.

 

The guards glare at you, but let you in. Ihra's given a flower as she enters.

 

Abigail and Katie lay further in the city, Abigail face down in ice and Katie on hot coals; their hair grey. Blood appears to be spilling out of the pair quite rapidly as I rush over to them.

 

"What the hell? Are the guards this frustrated, to let this just happen?!"

 

"I don't know, that or they just didn't care." I say, worried, picking up Abigail. Lifting Abigail up reveals a large knife piercing her armour, which seems to be the cause of the blood. Abigail's face also looks badly beaten and burnt.

"Grab Katie, we need to find somewhere cold for her and somewhere hot for Abigail; otherwise they won't be able to be healed."

 

"I can't pick her up... she's on coals! I'll go see why the guards didn't do anything..."

Ruby appears, telekinetically lifting Katie.
"The guards can help us with the temperatures. Or the other guardians you sent here."

 

"Yeah, we need to find Aqui, Ignia, Victus and Artemis. They should be able to help." I say.

Katie seems to have cuts all over her, presumably from the knife in Abigail, and is badly beaten and bruised.

 

Ruby puts Katie in a coma, careful not to hurt her.
"That'll buy us more time."

 

"I don't know who could've done this, but they'll be facing far worse torture than what they've done to Abigail and Katie once I find them." I say, running through the city looking for any of the guardians.

 

Tirra's upside down, the others have been in the garden area.

Ihra disappears into city hall.

 

I look around for the main group, containing Artemis and Myria.

 

OOC: I have no idea where they went

 

OOC: Uh...

I run over to Artemis and Myria once I see them, who look shocked when they see Abigail and Katie's bodies.

"What happened to Abigail and Katie!?" Artemis asks, shocked.

"I don't know, but someone's tried to kill them. I need your help as well as the other guardian's help, but I don't know where they are." I say.

 

Ihra returns, a few armored guards behind her.
"Guardians are up in the gardens. Take Abigail to the lower city entrance and the other guard will freeze Katie." She says, winded.

 

"Alright. Artemis, could you go find Victus and tell him to find me at the lower city entrance, and then come back to Katie?" I ask.

"Sure thing." Artemis says, running off as I head to the lower city entrance.

 

The other guard, as Ihra said, encases Katie in ice. Ihra stands there, exhausted.
"We don't need more enemies right now..."
