"Hey, I'm doing this for the good of the group. Sacrifice one to save a thousand, you know? If we can get Xlentia to a near death state, she won't be able to attack!" I say.

 

"Then what? Then you leave me in a near death state, and undoubtedly the Hive Master would jump at the opportunity to shut me down."

 

"And while he does that, we sneak up behind him and kill him!" I say evilly.

 

"He wouldn't be dumb enough to do it in person, you know."

 

"So, we either don't kill Xlentia so she kills all of us, or we do kill Xlentia so you can take her body and get killed and the chances of us surviving are...probably better." I say.

 

Ihra ejects you from her body, frustrated.
"So you're saying you don't care that I die since it'll happen soon anyways?! You realize you don't need to physically kill a god to defeat them, right?"

 

"Hmm...so you're saying we need to turn her insane?" I ask, still calm.

 

"No, then I can't free her. There should be some way to do this without mortally wounding her body... I'll check the tomes when we get back."

Rineth lets out a snore which startles Ihra.

 

"I dunno, maybe we should go back to the distraction plan," I say, "Wait, I got it! We can enlist the help of light creatures! They can disguise as anything they want, as well as create illusions!"

 

"No. Hell no."

 

"What? Why?" I ask, confused.

 

"They've already tried to brainwash and kidnap me. I may have forgiven you, but I've got nothing to spare for them."

 

"W-What? Those sick bastards! I knew we shouldn't have trusted them!" I say to myself, annoyed.

 

"They gave me a helmet and a rifle to kill you. I broke the helmet, and they bolted. Myria said it was an attempt to brainwash me and put me under their hive mind."

 

"So we have two hive masters to deal with. Great." I say.

 

"Apparently... Hopefully they're not trying to mesh together. Else we have so many more problems."

 

"Yeah...but I feel like the light creatures are too proud to join forces with scum like the hive master." I say.

 

"Well, they were scum enough to try to kidnap me, so I'd say they're that low."

 

"They obviously want you for something, but what?" I ask, pondering.

 

"Well, the obvious is to kill you. There's bound to be something else. Maybe because I'm half plant?"
