Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra waits next to the portal.

 

The portal eventually shifts to a picture of the Brisingr city, and I step through.

 

Ihra follows you.
"Also, why were there two Katies in the city? Well, one said her name was Aqui, but she looked like Katie."

 

"Oh, I sent one of my elite water guardians to help out there. You might not want to say that all water guardians look the same, they can get quite offended." I say, appearing in the city through a portal.

 

"But they kinda do... kinda like draconians. Sans horns."

 

"Except draconians look different and unique, and so do water guardians." I say.

 

"Have you ever put me next to another Sage and taken our robes off? The robe defines the draconian. We look nearly identical, unless of course our habitat changes our scale color."

 

I sigh, "Well, water guardians look different to one another." I say, looking around the city.

 

The group's still split.
"Maybe you should try to improve your reputation here. I dunno, I'm gonna go check on Rineth."

 

"Mind if I come with? He is our mode of transport." I ask.

 

"Sure. You could help me with avoiding lava, too." She says, walking towards the top entry.

 

"I could fly you over, if you wanted." I suggest.

 

"Please." Ihra says, surprised by the heat wave from outside as she starts to exit the city.

 

I disappear, and Ihra suddenly feels her wings get a lot stronger and larger.

 

She spirals upwards, then glides towards the ocean; Rineth's sleeping on the shoreline.

"Hmm... I guess being awake for months on end would wear you out. I should know." Ihra chuckles.

 

"Well, unless you don't need sleep." I say in Ihra's mind, chuckling too.

 

"You're lucky in that aspect. Should we land, or leave him alone?"

 

"What do you want to do?" I ask, "It's probably best to make sure he's alright."

 

"Then we'll land - carefully. He's flown us around for how long? We should at least let him get some mental rest."

 

"Alright. You're the one at the wheel, not me; I'm just helping you fly." I say.
