Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Abigail's always hated her parents, I don't know why. She's just a bit...harsh at times." Artemis says, hugging Ihra. Ihra can just about hear Myria shouting a short distance away.

A short while later, Abigail and Myria return, Abigail failing to hide the fact she's scared and got told off.

"Ihra...I'm sorry about what I said. I should have been more considerate and I didn't mean what I said. I was very mean and that was wrong, I hope you can forgive me." Abigail apologises, a tear running down her face as Myria sternly watches over her.

 

"No..." Ihra whimpers. "Hell no, not now."
She gets up and starts walking away from the group.
"I'm just going to go talk to Rineth."

 

Ihra finds Katie and Aqui along the way.

"Hey Ihra, how are you doing?" Katie asks happily.

"Thanks for introducing me to Katie by the way, Ihra. She's a really good friend!" Aqui says, smiling.

 

"Ask Abigail..." Ihra utters, wiping tears off her face as she doesn't even slow down for the pair.

 

"Ihra?" Katie asks as Ihra walks away.

Artemis jumps over the rooftops, follwing Ihra as she heads toward Rineth.

 

Ihra takes the upper entry, then stops there, sitting down and just crying.

Ruby shows herself near Abigail.
"You've said smarter things." She mutters.

 

Artemis jumps down, walking over to Ihra.


Abigail just shakes, sitting on the ground.

"It's alright, I've spoken to her already." Myria says.

 

She doesn't notice her.


"I'm aware. So is just about everyone else here."

 

Artemis sits down beside Ihra, before hugging her.


"I'm glad you know she's been spoken to about her actions then." Myria says.

 

Startled, Ihra jumps back, then hugs Artemis.
"I don't know what to do..."


"I mean, you were a tad loud."
A draconian whose robe covers their eyes approaches with a staff that has gears making the head.
"We heard you in city hall."

 

"Maybe try giving Aj a fresh start. Another chance." Artemis says.


"Well, I think it should be made clear what Abigail did wrong, as well as a louder voice being more intimidating." Myria says.

 

"I know, but... it'd be like an orphan hugging the person who murdered their parents and calling them their friend... it doesn't feel right."


"Loud as in the entire city can hear?"

 

"I realize that, but...Aj was sort of responsible for killing my parents too...but I can look past that and see the good in him, the part of him I love." Artemis says.


"I didn't intend for it to be that loud, sorry." Myria apologises.

 

OOC: Where's the group currently?

 

"I thought he just took you away from them, not murder them in front of you?"


"I suppose we can forgive. I'd be tempted to do the same to her."

Draconian city; scattered about. Rineth's chilling in the ocean.

 

"Well...I guess that's sort of true, but seeing your fathers severed head thrown towards you, his expression of fear still stained on his face..." Artemis says, before trailing off, caught in her own thoughts.


"Thank you." Myria says.

 

"How can I turn a new leaf when he's burned down the tree?"


"So, I completely forgot why I came out here. Ruby could've gotten the point across."
"You didn't need to come here, Li..." Ruby cuts herself off.

 

"He's a powerful friend to have around...and, besides, if he leaves, we leave. None of us can get home without him." Artemis says, trying to shake off her flashbacks.


"What's the problem?" Myria asks Ruby.

 

"I know... that's why I haven't told him I never want to see him alive again to his face... I kind of need you and your friends, I think."


"Just that you shouted loud enough for the whole city to hear."

 

"You really hate him that much?" Artemis asks, shocked.


"Oh, of course." Myria says, chuckling.
