Regarding Server Restarts

I've noticed that restarts happen quite occasionally. Is there a reason for the restarts? Thanks.

Haha. Remember that old "Reduce Lag" suggestion?

 

I am not really sure about the reason. It is probably just because someone pressed the "Reduce Lag"-button.
However, server restarts shouldn't happen that often. I have been AFK in Detlas on WC1 at times for maybe 1-3 hours, without a restart.

 

I remember sometime pre-Gameplay Update that servers were restarting every 5 minutes
The reason I posted this thread was because I got salty over not finishing an xp quest in time xD

 

I hate it when you just entered a corrupted dungeon and then the server restarts in 5 minutes... All of your effort wasted...

 

Servers dont restart every 5 mins, nor do they restart every 1-2 hours. Ive been playing wynncraft for along time, and i noticed that restarts are programed into a cycle for all servers.S

Servers generally restart from 13:00pm to 14:00pm (this is all WET btw) Then, after a good 5 hours, they restart again at 18:00pm-19:00pm. Then again, after a good 4-5 hours or so, they restart again at 22pm-1am

Now again, this is what ive seen from 2 years of playing wynncraft for typically 6-8 hours a day, at different times

After this data, we can safely come to a conclusion that servers restart every 4-6 hours.
