Build Some Random Builds...

Note: these builds are not all finished. Could I use these for a builder application? Please answer yes or no with recommendations.

 

Just the fortress' exterior looks AMAZING.

Definitely do an application! What's the worst they can do? Turn you down?

 

You can do an app with 3 builds. Maybe actually finish a build, would certainly help your app. Fortress is my fav tho

Looks nice! Maybe use a lighter wood for the brick house. You should post more builds

 

Its really good except for the first build. I am gonna be honest, it kind of sucks. Brick is not a very good block to use, like ever, and the block choices all clash badly.

The fortress an the underground thing look really good, but that first build...

 

I really love the brick house, it's really cool (although I think that the random spruce stairs are a bit eh)
The fortress is amazing even though the towers are a bit too messy for my taste.
I really like those builds but I think that to get builder for unfinished builds is very unlikeble.

I attempted to use brick even though I knew it would get hate. At least I tried...

I also tried mixing it with red clay to make it look better. I think it failed.

I'm actually going to be posting an update on the brick house at some point within the next 2 days.

 

Castle walls:
Repetetive details, top has no depth or detail

Tower:
To me, it looks odd with a narrow watch tower

House:
Nothing to enplane

Interior:
Nothing to explane

 

A castle wall is suppose to be repetitive and 2nd the tower is the way it is because it's not suppose to be heavily guarded and it's just a watch tower. Thanks for the feedback anyways!

 

Well compared to how I build this is just amazing! Keep up the great work!

 

I mean it only uses pillars, unlike other fortress builds, they have more types of detail. Try adding some more detail

 

It not suppose to be heavily detailed 1. because it's a poor district 2. because it's not a big wall

 

Tips for a poor district:
-Make it look like its a bit ruined
-add some vines
-Baisicly add signs of poverty

The wall:
-The walls look organized, if your going for a poor district, make the walls messy (like the gert camps or unorganized stacks of stone)

I personally think they both look good, although with the first one the block choice is a little odd. Brick & Red Stained Clay makes for an odd combination, especially with the Hay & Wood roof, it makes for a clunky and forced rustic feel IMO, that doesn't mean I don't like the house, I think it looks quite nice. Personally I like how the second build looks so far, (I'm guessing this is the WIP one) but how about changing the dirt to grass and seeing how that looks, because the dirt doesn't look that appealing with the block choices & especially next to the water.

EDIT: I have a question, is this going to be connected to another city, because with the walls the way it is it would make sense for this to be apart of a larger city (Not saying you should make a larger city, just state that this would be a poor district in a city)

 

The house is the way it is because it's suppose to look as if it was quickly thrown together by surrounding resources. And the plan for the castle was to have multiple districts

 

I would add windows to the house.

 

Have to admit, that hay brick house looks pretty good!
Never would'be had that block texture idea.
