Welcome to Wynn News! Today we've got a few stories concerning Wybels, a Halloween Skin Contest, and a new particle teaser which has the community scratching their heads. Let's get into it.

Wybels Bring "Other Worldly" Lore

With a recent twitter teaser introducing "Wybel Pets" here players are surprised by the introduction to the tweet:

"Aliens from another world...? Who wouldn't want one?!"

As of now, Wybels are confirmed to be aliens rather than fantasy creatures of Gavel. The implications of this are clear: other worlds. With the introduction of aliens, the lore of the game is not only limited to the Wynnic World, but the entirety of space. This leaves a lot of room for theorists to do their thing. "Honestly I think that these aliens are adorable and maybe under all that cuteness and fluff, they can be secretly evil and bring some kinda of disaster o.o", @omgsara tells me. Others think there is the possibility of Wybels having to do with the ??? Quest in some way. Until then, only time can tell...

Wybel Pets!

More on the topic of Wybels, the tweet which introduced Wybels as aliens also introduced "Wybel Pets". Now the community is a bit mixed on what this could mean. Some players such as @DireFire believe that this could mean Wybel Plushies will be added to the shop, while others such as @Mattyboy84 think they will be an in game feature. Regardless, the community is exceptionally hyped up for this upcoming feature.

With the addition of Wybel Pets, Bear Pets were also announced to the game here. The implications of bear pets are unknown as of now due to the fact that there are no bear-esque mobs in Minecraft 1.9, and no iconic bears in Wynncraft that could be sold as merchandise. Until then we'll have to tune in for more information from the Wynncraft Twitter team!

Particle Mystery

Yet again, the Wynncraft Twitter presents us with another mystery. This teaser, posted here, introduces us to something a bit... different. The teaser is a bit unclear, leaving players to ponder whether it is just another new Player Particle, whether it has to do with "special attacks" on your weapons with mixed elements, or maybe something else. Some players, such as @DJKreeper, have put together a "theorist team" of sorts in order to discuss some of the new upcoming features. The thread can be found here.

Hallowynn Skin Contest!

It's here! The long awaited Hallowynn Community Event! The new event was announced here and includes various prizes including two "hidden prizes" for future updates! This event is significant because of the rarity of official Skin Contests. The last skin contest hosted by the Wynncraft Team was on March 17, 2015, St. Patrick's Day. The event is strictly Wynncraft related, meaning only Wynncraft spooky skins, which will definitely make this something special. This event has a deadline of October 17th so be sure to enter before then!
