    Hello,

First off, this is not clickbait or anything related to that. This is an actual effective way of getting tons of emeralds (which includes EB and even LE) in a short time with little effort.

For this I recommend you have completed the "Underice" quest and received the Breathing Helmet II, as you will be underwater to do this.

Recently, they added an area off to the east of Selchar that is called "Seavale Reefs". This area is required to enter for the ToL quest (one of the items spawns down there), but it also contains other items that act as treasure.

Now, it seems gimmicky, and while it is mentioned by the Seaskipper Captain it is still overlooked by most players. However, if a large quantity of these items are acquired, a player could rack up tons of emeralds by doing nothing but diving underwater.

In Selchar, there is a merchant called the "Treasure Merchant". He is the merchant that turns the treasure you collected into emeralds. The prices are listed as follows:

    1 Small Pearl: 2 Emeralds
    1 Glowing Pearl: 6 Emeralds
1 Large Glowing Pearl: 10 Emeralds
    1 Huge Pearl: 18 Emeralds

    1 Coral Ruby: 10 Emeralds
    1 Coral Amethyst: 12 Emeralds
    1 Coral Topaz: 14 Emeralds
    1 Coral Sapphire: 28 Emeralds
1 Coral Diamond: 2 Emerald Blocks

1 Sunken Silver Nugget: 2 Emeralds
1 Sunken Gold Nugget: 3 Emeralds
1 Sunken Silver Bar: 5 Emeralds
1 Sunken Gold Bar: 7 Emeralds
1 Sunken Silver Bundle: 10 Emeralds
1 Sunken Gold Bundle: 14 Emeralds
1 Sunken Block of Silver: 24 Emeralds
1 Sunken Block of Gold: 32 Emeralds

1 Sunken Artifact: 3 Emerald Blocks

Again, someone may think that the prices are low. However, the spawn rate of the treasure in the reef is extremely high. Just scanning the bottom will reveal at least 10 items in your view, with more around you. And, the higher priced items are not super rare, except for the diamond and the artifact (still, the diamond/artifact are able to be found).

Here is my step-by-step guide to get the most benefit out of this treasure trove:

    1) Make sure you have and equip a Breathing Helmet II. If you only have a Breathing Helmet I, it's usable, but you will have less time to collect treasure.

    2) Empty your inventory out as much as possible. Put any unnecessary items in your bank.

    3) Go to the east of Selchar and find the reef. From there, dive underwater to find the treasure.

    4) Treasure can be found everywhere in the reef area, but the diamonds and artifacts tend to spawn in the middle near the ravines.

    5) If your inventory gets full, discard the coral first (that is only a quest item and cannot be sold). After that, discard the items with the lowest value (small pearl, nuggets, etc).

    6) If you see an item worth a high value (such as a gold block), get to it as fast as possible to avoid the risk of it despawning (the items despawn after 5 minutes of being present).

    7) When you begin to get stacks of 64 items, this is a good time to go back and sell your treasure at Selchar. Be aware that you will be running to the bank often because of the ridiculous amount of emeralds you'll earn.

Like always, some people won't prefer this method. However, this method is somewhat relaxing and doesn't involve looting runs or fighting mobs. (It also has an exact emerald amount while loot chests or mob drops are completely RNG based.)

I hope you like this guide. If you have any questions, just comment below and I'll try to answer them.

I'm not 100% sure what you meant by that. The only thing I can think of is the part mentioning reaching the treasure before it despawns.

All classes should benefit equally though. I rarely see the treasure despawn.

I'm not sure when class discrepancies were added to the guide. With the breathing helmet, each class is given more than enough time to collect multiple treasure items.

And about mages healing, that is another way to do it, although your health depletes in a vanilla manner and large chunks are taken from your health each second. With that method, your mana is your life source, and if you run out you're screwed (unless you can get to the top).

Still, the breathing helmet is the most efficient way. It takes the complication of constant healing away, and it won't necessarily hinder armor stats since you're not fighting mobs to begin with.

This is a good way for lower levelled players, around the ranges of 20-50, to get Emeralds, but it's actually far more efficient in the higher levels to use loot runs to get emeralds. While it is a fun activity, I spent a good hour collecting treasure and managed to get about 1/4 of the emeralds I would've gained in a loot run which would take half the time.

This could work for when you're low on cash and need a little bit of money as a low-level, but otherwise grinding and looting is the way to go.

As mentioned above, mages and assassins do have a hard time not drowning. However since that was given very little context, let me explain.

The problem occurs with getting to the top before drowning. Assassins do not have a movement ability to help them go to the top. Mages can not teleport under water, so they are also screwed.

And on the topic of the mage heal, please remember that since the Gavel update, mana regens much slower in water.

It probably is true that loot runs in later levels will yield more emeralds. However, for lower level players very few of these loot runs exist, and typically the chests in Wynn don't have much in them.

This guide is primarily to explain an efficient method of diving/treasure hunting. It can make emeralds fast primarily for lower level players who don't even have a liquid emerald yet. Higher levels will have more benefit doing loot runs, since the mobs/loot chests also produce legendaries and give the "chance" for a mythic item.
