How Good Are Mythic Weapons?

I'm honestly curious. When I look at them, things like Pure and Archangel seem pretty good while others such as Lament, Fatal and Ignis seem.... all right, at best; however, I see the ones I considered okay going for stacks of LE while the others are fairly cheap, so could someone explain why these things are so desirable?

 

1. They're rare
2. They're extremely useful in builds
3. They're good weapons

 

Fatal is probs the best mage mythic and pure is the worst the spell dmg isn't that good

Mythics are wanted because they're OP. They're valuable because they have a very low drop rate/chance.

If you want an air assassin (with a mythic) use Weathered. If you want an air mage, then don't use pure.

I am aware that droprates add to the value, but I was wondering why some are considered trash while others are fantastic.

Yes, a player who does not keep up with builds is prone to making these statements.

Rarity I know about. As for the others, I should probably rewrite the post. I wish to know why they are used.

 

Because some are trash while others are amazing. That's just it.
Like.. positive ids.. and actual useful ids.. like mana regen... fire defense.. lifesteal.. things like that. Mythics fit efficiently with a few builds styled around two or three different skills. Also their average ids are better then a legendary's average ids.
Mythics are literally just... better.
They are used because they are OP. If a player knows how to properly utilize all the features that are in the gavel/gameplay update, you will have a fearsome player.

 

because people want items that have purple names and cool lores

 

Fatal has the highest average DPS on a wand by far, and it also has 4 very good buffs and no debuffs. It also has a low dex requirement for a mythic.
