Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Agh, what the hell?" Ignia says, drop kicking the blade. Annoyed, she busts open some of the ancient weapons.

"I'm not technically mortal." Ignia says to herself, smirking and looking over the weapons.

 

There's a hammer that's VERY well secured to the wall, and an odd bow that's equally well secured. There's an empty slot that appears to be for the sword.

 

Ignia tries to pry the hammer off the wall by burning it off, before grabbing some goddess clothing.

 

The burning does absolutely nothing, but she looks like a fire goddess with the clothing she picked up. It's too big for her, but at least it feels... like burning.

 

Ignia quickly discards the clothes, before grabbing the flaming sword and quickly putting it on the wall.

 

Once tossed in its direction, the sword secures itself in the cage which slowly regenerates. However, this leaves Ignia's hand a bit numb.

 

Ignia looks around for any special doors that might've opened having all three weapons secured.

 

Nothing at all happens.

 

Ignia checks out the rest of the room for anything useful.

 

Idle partially-built robots and other experiments lay around. However, nothing else is of interest.

 

Ignia exits the core, checking to see if the earth hand Tirra made is still stable.

 

The earth hand is just starting to liquify.

 

Ignia decides to swim to the edges of the lava, looking for connections into the landmass.

 

After half an hour, she reaches on edge of Brisingr. There's no smooth ramp/entry in sight.

 

Ignia studies the walls of the edge.

 

They're dirt, rock, and a bit of metal, but it's rather unstable. Seems everyone steers clear of the edge.

 

Ignia tries to dig through the dirt using her claws, to try and create tunnels for the magma.

 

The dirt crumbles and melts easily, but she can hear a caravan passing by.
"How do we escape?"
"I dunno... Mountains are blocked, no ships pass with the leviathan around, and now Brisingr's gone..."
"Hon, get back! More ground's falling in!"

 

Ignia digs out to the surface, using magma to assist before poking her head out of the ground.

 

"Hon, look out!"
A traveler in rags holds a poorly made makeshift spear in Ignia's direction.
"What the..."
