Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Apologies."
I'm almost smirking.
"Sometimes I forget that the metal in my feet is quite silent."

"I'd love to! It sounds very nice! You visit that place often?"

 

Stephanie grabs your hand, and you feel your entire body shocked with hundreds of volts of electricity.

 

OOC: *shorts out*
*boom*

 

The workers pull back from Stephanie as a near-deafaning screech can be heard before a huge metal chunk flies off the generator, narrowly missing a couple workers.
"Thanks for your efforts, but miss? We have no way to repair that..."

"Couldn't we set up a trap on where they're going next? Three of them, three of us would help..."

"City hall. You can't exactly miss it."

"No, but if we find one in this world, we can stop there!" Ihra says happily.

 

I seem aghast at the amount of electricity, and I step back, wretching my hand out of Stephanie's grasp.
My hand seems charred.
"Guess I deserved that."
Stephanie can see small sparks emmiting from my eye sockets.

 

"I'm quite shocked at these results." Stephanie says, removing her hand and smirking below her hood. Her smirk seems to be illuminated by the sparks of electricity darting around her.

 

"The problem there is that we don't know where they're going next."

I nod and head to the city hall.

 

"It's a good thing my reactions weren't lightning fast when you surprised me, I could've killed you." Stephanie says, though her malice seems to have faded.

 

"Let'd hope that we do!"
Crystal respondes happily, and wait to see which flower Ihra will revive next.

 

The workers aren't amused.
"You crack puns at destroying the one thing not unsalvageable here? GET OUT!" The supervisor shouts, frustrated.

"If they want to explore, think of a place they've yet to go."

There's a council of four draconians sitting at a small table, half of them asleep and the other half getting there.

 

"I know better than that. You were busy with other lighting related things."
I smile.

 

"Yeah!"
Ihra revives a bed of hanging-bell-shaped yellow flowers next to a few of the benches.

 

Stephanie quickly darts out of the power plant, before returning within about the same second and slamming her hands onto the generator; overcharging it in an attempt to make it explode.

 

"Oh, no."
I dart away as quickly as possible.

Crystal smiles.

 

"They've yet to go to Greenhill Strong, and I believe they havn't gone to the Darklands yet."

I clear my throat.
"Gentlemen, I have a proposition for you regarding the evacuation of Brisingr." I say as the orb of water floats to the middle of the table.

You feel your body powered up, making your movements and reactions triple the speed they were before.

I lean forward as I run, and after a while, I look back.

 

Electricity sparks all over the power plant as a field of it grows from within.

 

The resulting blast kills every worker nearby plus the supervisor.
Stephanie can hear the guards shouting;
"What was that?!"
"Lock down every exit! Get the cloaked girl!"

"The Darklands... We should set up there."

Only one looks up.
"The ladies are asleep. Now's not a great time."

 

"God damnit."
I look around for Stephanie.
