That's the final step I made it with world edit so I was quite limited

With only one picture it's difficult to judge. Anyway, the terrain is really bad, It's tall and pointed, without small open spaces and flat areas on the mountains [are important, because on it you can put trees or structures or other things like a lake]

So, try to do a great palette.
For the structures, If you can give other images, I will judge them ;)

Oh and the terrain is meant to be tall to hold all the Platforms but it'll be more rounded at the bottom when I'm done

 

I'm not quote sure what you mean by being limited with World Edit in block variation. If you're speaking that you couldn't change it up with World Edit, there's a beautiful command that works wonders. E.g: //replace stone 30%4,25%1,35%1:5 (or whichever data variable andesite is.... just going off the top of my head). That will ultimately replace the stone with different stone types and randomise the replace based on the percentages you state. Of course, if you already know this, then pay no mind to this comment. x)

thats not what i meant lol, but thx, the way to make mountains w world edit is basically dropping sand spheres until you have a peak xD
