What Happened To Armor Skins?

Why all the hate? I liked the look and uniqueness of the skins. Or at least, when they worked.

 

I really liked the armor skins...

 

I actually liked them

 

When they were a thing in 1.13 I liked them. Then they were removed, and I realized I actually really didn't like them. Then they came back and my chest plate was invisible and I remembered why I hate armor skins.

 

I honestly liked them. I can remember the Booster Plate's texture, with a jetpack on its back.

I liked searching around Ragni for armor, so I can look like a king

 

why not just use /toggle so everyones happy

 

I do miss armor skins...

They had an option to disable them, guys!

 

The option to disable them just made you have no armor on, and still made you reload every time you switched armor. It would have been better as a /toggle that made your armor vanilla and skipped the annoying reload that was the grave of thousands of items.
