Anyone know a way to remove particles from minecraft !?
I have an old laptop and the principal cause of fps drop are particles.
If U know a mod/way plz share with us !!

    P.S.

Should've spent more money on a PC instead of buying that advanced toaster...

Also this is the wrong section and even forum, And you could've either searched in settings for a good few minutes or googled that problem, No reason to make a thread about it.

    You cannot disable particles.
You can at least remove all of the 'non-block' particles (the dirt particles from uppercut will still be visible)

There actually is no way of disabling particles completly, though, you can decrease them to the point where there are nearly none...

    1) Go to options
    [IMG]

    2) Go to video settings
    [IMG]

    3) Click the "Particles" Button until it says "Minimal"

Sadly, that is all you can do...

    Hope I helped...

I am glad that I helped... What you can also do if you are having framerate issues is turn your render distance to 9 chunks (That is what I use and you can see everything of importance really, you can't see more otherwise usually too), and turn off VSync as old computers seem to struggle...

Another thing you can do if you're willing to sacrifice how the game looks for performance is turn graphics from "Fancy" to "Fast"

That is about all you can do to boost up your performance within minecraft (you can also try downloading optifine, but I don't know if you haven't already as that is what most people do)

And here... have a flower to ease your pain...

Nott much you can do to remove particles but if you want your fps to increase try dedicating more ram to the mc launcher if you can by going to edit profile and changing the launch setting 'Xmx1048M' into 'Xmx_G' in which the underscore would be how many gigabytes you want to allocate.

The particles aren't vanilla which is the reason you can still see them :P Sadly there is no way to 100% disable them in Wynn due to that reason. (Particles can have a tag which forces them to be seen at any distance and with any settings)
