SPOILER -✘- Ensa, Tisaun, And More! -✘- Character Theories, Analysis And More! -✘-

Hello all! Today I'm going to look over and explain my thoughts on the 'Extra Characters' who are featured in Item Lore!

Firstly, as usual, I'm going to look over all the item lore.

Okay, we're going to cover Ensa first.

"The Scholar-Priest Ensa made this pendant as a personal prayer while his home was under siege. It is rumoured to hold the key to enlightenment, but it is unknown how"

There are three other items related to Ensa, being

Ensa's Ideals
Ensa's Resolve
Ensa's Failure

Now, the item names may mean something. Possibly:

Ensa had an idea -> Ensa tried to make the idea happen -> Ensa failed at whatever his idea was.

Okay, now I'll speculate on where Ensa could've lived. I'm going to base it on one thing: The level of "Ensa's Faith" which is level 73.
This includes:

Dead Island (Possibly other islands, but I feel this is the most likely.)
Everything west of Cinfras
The Jungle
It's not limited to this!

Okay, now onto a short theory about Ensa

Ensa is a male Scholar-Preist, as we know. But what if Ensa had an idea that turned out to be an absolute catastrophe? If so, what could this catastrophe be? Could it be the Greenskin - Villager war? We just don't know.

Okay now to Rycar!!

Rycar is a female drunkard and warrior. She seems to be an avid adventurer.

Her items include:

Rycar's Swagger
Rycar's Bravado
Rycar's Elation

This is quite obvious -- That Rycar is an overconfident, klutzy, happy-go-lucky type of person, just by the item names.

There's not much to go off of, except Rycar could be based around a late- 50s, early 60s level area.
This could include:

Maro Peaks
Pirate Cove
Dark Forest
Swamp
Pre-Light Forest
Llevigar plains and Karoc Quarry

Now for a mini theory!

Rycar is a wanderer, which means she has no set home and just goes from area to area aimlessly. Perhaps Rycar could be some sort of 'Mini-Ragnar' Helping areas in need, etc. But, alas, she is rarely successful due to her clumsiness and overconfidence.

Cerid!

Cerid is a tinkerer-- someone who occupies themselves in a useless way, usually involving machines.

Cerid has three items,
Cerid's Presicion
Cerid's Ingenuity
Cerid's Dynamo

Again, this tells a story.
Cerid was trying hard, very hard.
Cerid had an amazing creative quality.
Cerid created something amazing involving magic.

Here's my theory about Cerid.

Now, this may be stretching it a little-- but I feel Cerid is responsible for the whole Clock Mystery, and possibly the clocks in Cinfras & Pre-Light Forest. Yes, it is taking a stretch, but I feel it is plausible.
Cerid, I believe could also be friends with Ohms, as they both share an interest in the same sort of thing.

Carvel is up next!

Carvel is master sailor, who is only referenced in Maelstrom's lore. He was sailing to Selchar, when he got hit by a storm and lost his bow.

Carvel has only two items, other than Maelstrom. Those being;

Carvel's Sight
Carvel's Creation

Both Low-Level rare items. I am going to assume Carvel lived in Nemract.

Theory time.

Carvel, was on his way to Selchar for an unknown reason, I'm going to assume he was going there on a business trip. He was the creator and owner of the Maelstrom bow, which he loved dearly. He brought it with him on his business trip, when the bow attracted a horrendous storm, sinking the ship and Carvel with
it.

And Finally, Tisaun!

Tisaun is a warrior, also the founder of the Sodeta guild!

He has three items related to him, being;
Tisaun's Valor
Tisaun's Honor
Tisaun's Proof

Okay. time for a theory.

Tisaun, is the founder of the Sodeta Guild. Now disbanded, probably when Tisaun died. Tisaun; had to fight off a war party, as said in the lore. But what if Siegfraud again, ripped off Tisaun? Tisaun's items portray him as a brave, fearless warrior. Also; To be able to create a guild, one must be 5LE rich. 5LE Is probably quite a lot for citizens of Wynn/Gavel, so Tisaun is probably richer than your average Llevigar citizen. Tisaun may be friends with Rycar, as they are in the same sort of profession, though Tisaun seems more organised.

Thank you so much for reading everyone, this one took me roughly 5 hours to make, placing that my longest one to date! It was also one of the most interesting ones to make, item lore is great. (Though it would be nice if someone *ahem tantibus best gm* were to give Alkatraz some lore!)

It's Tisaun not Tisuan

 

It is Tisaun. The name was right on the item guide. How could you have missed it.

 

Okay, I'm sorry. It just seems right for Tisuan due to the way I say it in my accent. I'll fix it

oh btw what do you think Tisaun's Proof means?
like if we go by your guess that Siegfried "ripped off" Tisaun, then I feel like that ties into Tisaun's proof; he's trying to prove that he did this something instead of Siegfried.
However, we know that Tisaun was the first king of Gavel, which was a hella long time ago.
Siegfried is still alive today.
So Siegfried could not have stolen Tisaun's achievements.

Okay guys, fixed the Tisaun spelling errors.

 

I expect there to be a quest in the guild hall about Tisuan and once you complete it you can make a guild

 

Ahem ahem cough cough triggered

 

I feel as though Ensa's items references something else. Rather than an idea he had something he wanted to change in the world but something very unrealistic - to make his ideal come true (Ensa's ideal). Ensa's resolve probably references his determination to change the world. Ensa's Failure probably references his ultimate failure in accomplishing this task due to it being too idealistic. I'm thinking along the lines of trying to solve the Corruption or Decay.

Alternatively, Ensa's ideal is still his goal, but Ensa's Resolve is a good ending(Somewhere Uncorrupted by him, maybe Fruma or Corkus) and Ensa's Failure is a bad ending (Dern or Wynn, which remain corrupted).

 

Maybe Ensa's failure = corrupted dungeon?

 

Sodeta boots are related to tisaun as well arent they?
They fit tisauns items pretty well tho.
