What's Next For Wynncraft?

So, we've had the powders, revamped towns, loads of of new items, new quests, revamped quests, general gameplay stuff to do with xp and shenanigans and we've had the amazing dungeon stuff.

Grian has stated that the level 90-95 gap will be filled with a mini story-line for molten heights.
Also, the main story line needs completing, probably with purely level 80+ quests.

Jumla said "We're basically going to have this update, then we're going to have one more update that you guys don't know about yet. And then we're going to take a short break for two to three months and not add any new features... we're still going to be doing releases of quests..."

So we've had the first update he mentioned, then there will be another one coming with almost certainly the main storyline, the molten heights storyline, a few other high level quests, the Realm of Light additions (Don't know if that's part of the main storyline) and probably some more corrupted dungeons as well as the mortal mountain dungeon.

Jumla also said that in the 2-3 months off, they (The developers) will be rewriting the core plugin from the ground up to fix some of the broken systems and other issues that make it hard to maintain and for multiple people to work on at once. "So we can release updates every month instead of every six months.".

The function of this thread is simply to enlighten people about what the plans for the future of Wynncraft are.

EDIT: The next update will be for the store due to the EULA meaning that riding players and other features have to be removed.

Then there will be a break for a few months in which Jumla and the other developers are going to recode and rewrite a lot of the systems including guilds, this should make future updates faster, easier to make and less buggy.

During this break, the main storyline and the molten heights mini-storyline will be worked on and then released at a date known by no-one as of yet.

After that (We're looking at over a year into the future now probably) more provinces will continue to be added. This includes Dern, Fruma and Corkus.

They'll probably work on more corrupted Dungeons and the Quest lines and story lines for both Wynn and Gavel
After that, they may release Dern/Fruma/Corkus but it is unknown which will come first.

 

Not that those are both confirmed future updates or anything

But also, Dern and the Main Questline/Storyline, which will be basically turning all normal quests in to Sidequests and make Wynn more like a typical RPG.

The first update was the Gameplay update, added powders and a boat
The secret one is the store update, which is being worked on and you guys should enjoy.
The break is for Jumla to go in and rework the code and clean it up, doing this will help a lot with fixing the guilds.
Corkus is still being worked on so don't hold your breath on that, same with the mini story-line and the main story line.

All you guys have to be hyped for now is the store update where you give us all your money.

When it became canon, I thought it was just going to be a little easter egg.

 

Do you guys have any plans on doing a wipe on all guild data to start fresh again? If so, please don't do it.

You may never be able to visit Corkus, but it's in the lore ingame and everything.

 

Guilds will not be reset.
