    Hi guys, Mantis here making my first RP. This one will have similar storyline and mechanics to @Heavy 's awesome RP, War of the Provinces, which unfortunately died. Not failing to recognise the potential Heavy's RP had, I couldn't resist making an rp similar to his.

    Storyline Lore:


    It was a time of peace in the provinces. Trade flourished, the corruption was stopped, Mistress Qira was beat in her own hive and relations between the Humans and Villagers were better than ever. However, as in all stories, peace does not last.

    Twenty one years after the fantastically powerful being who slew the corruptor, destroyed Amadel, gained Bob's seal of approval and banished the Mistress of the Hive disappeared, tensions have risen between villagers and humans. The Grand Alliance had depended on a common foe: the corruption, and once it had been taken away, the villagers and humans had nothing to fight, (other than each other of course), no common ground to stand on, and no reason to be allies at all. The greedy villagers wanted more emerald from the wynncraftian humans, so much so that a rogue band of big noses stole into the village of Maltic, abducted a family of 6 humans and sent them to work in the mines.



    Eventually, word got out that the villagers had kidnapped some humans, and in doing so, had broken a fragile peace. The Human King had always secretly mistrusted the villagers, as he had heard the tales of General Skien's insanity, and so he declared war.

    Plans were made, armies were assembled, and the humans are poised to defend their motherland, while the villagers stand by, unnervingly passive, secretly gathering their allies. What will you do, Player? Will you stand by the Humans in their cause or help the villagers in their quest against the Humans? Apply below to find out.

    If you didnt read it, here's the summary: The villagers did stuff, the humans are angry, its gavel vs wynn in this epic war to end all wars.

    Armor provides Damage Resistance(DR) and Magic Resistance(MR) to the wearer. DR and MR are calculated like this:

    Dam-DR/MR=Damage Taken

    For example, if an elite assassin with DR: 10 MR: 5 from Gavel is hunting down a certain bank robbing elf, and the assassin were hit with a 19 damage attack with a sword by the elf, they would take 9 damage. I decide what's classified as a magic attack or regular attack unless you specify otherwise. Try to make your DR and MR lore friendly please. There is also -DR/MR, which is the base damage dealt plus the positive DR/MR.

    You can have 4 pieces of armor equipped. Your head, face, body, and feet slots. Your face slot is where items that would go on your face go, such as a mask or glasses. Your head slot is where hats or helmets go. Your body slot is for your main body armor, such as chainmail armor or a formal suit. Finally, the feet slot is where you'd put footwear, such as boots or shoes. Again, please be lore friendly.

    While buying from shopkeepers or looting off corpses, some armors will have special bonuses. For example, glasses will have the wearer more perceptive, making them sense danger better. You might also find legendary or rare pieces of armor on your travels.

    If unspecified, your DR and MR remain at 0. Tell me in detail about your armor.
    Weapons are extremely important (obviously) and they determine the amount of damage you deal.

    In your application, specify your weapon, please, make it lore friendly. I dont want any JOHN CENAS HAMMER OF POOP BS, be sensible. I will decide how much damage your weapon does unless otherwise specified.
    Your character can have up to 4 spells (5 if you are a magician/mage. Specify in your application format what spells you have already learnt. There will be opportunities to acquire spells along the game. I decide how much damage your spells do, so don't specify.
    As you travel, you might encounter some less than friendly mobs. When attacked, you might be inflicted by a horrible debuff, or if healed by an ally, you might receive some awesome powers. Furthermore, your characters might have spells that buff them. Describe the buffs in your application, so I know what's going on. Here are some buffs and debuffs.


    [BLEEDING] Takes 2% of maximum HP every turn as damage
    [DEATH STROKE] Takes 20% of maximum HP every turn as damage
    [POISONED] Lose 5HP every turn
    [LETHAL POISON] Slowed by 20% and lose 10HP every turn
    [ANGRY] Deal 50% more damage but take 10% more damage in return
    [CRAZED] Deal 75% more damage but take 100% more damage in return
    [SHIELDED] Take 40% less damage
    [DEFENDED] Take 50% less damage
    [CONFIDENT] Take 20% less damage and deal 20% more damage
    [ANGEL'S LIGHT] Heal 10% of maximum HP a turn for a short time, suffer from no harmful effects and receive bonus armor.

    There are also effects you can get from not eating/drinking/sleeping

    [TIRED] Take 30% more damage. Deal 20% less damage.
    [ON DEATH'S DOORSTEP] Death in 5 turns unless healed
    [SICK] Take 50% more damage, but gain a chance to poison your enemy
    [HUNGRY] Deal 50% less damage
    [RAVENOUS] Deal 80% less damage and take 30% more damage. Chance to gain [CRAZED] Effect

    Q: How do I get around?
    A: There are various ways to get around. The simplest is walking. It's free and environmentally friendly, but also fairly slow. You can ride on a horse, if you buy(or steal) one. You can pay a driver to drive you on horse cart to a specified city by land. If you're needing to get to an island or between Wynn or Gavel, you can always pay to ride on a boat(or steal one). Detlas and Cinfras have airship ports, but you can only travel to and from those cities. In sure a deal could be arranged with a smaller airship captain to take you to any city. Or, if someone happened to have a high reputation with Fruma, I'm sure they could have an airship pick them up anywhere and drop them off anywhere.

    Q: What if I am defeated in combat?
    A: You'll probably die. Depends on the enemy, they could just let you go. Bandits will almost always try and hold you for ransom before killing you. If soldiers capture you, they will most likely take you to be tried and executed or imprisoned.

    Q: Then what happens if I die?
    A: You're out of the RP. Sorry.

    Q: So how many characters can we have?
    A: One.

    Q: Can I be evil?
    A: Yes, by all means! This is your adventure, play it out how you want. Although, if you side with an evil faction, good factions won't be very pleased with you.

    Q: Can I have my own Army?
    A: Yes. mercenaries can be found all over the world, and most are capable fighters. Their prices may vary, and certain ones have different traits and skills. You can also get soldiers to fight with you if you have high enough reputation with a certain faction.

    Q: You gave me "Free Choice" as a response. What does it mean?
    A: It means you can do whatever you want, as long as it makes sense and follows all the rules.

    Q: How do I get better weapons?
    A: You can upgrade one of yours at the blacksmith, or buy a new one from a merchant or blacksmith. Some enemies also drop powerful weapons

    The RP(Reputation Points) system is your current standing with a faction. If you sneak onto a ship owned by United Wynn in Nemract, for example, and set it on fire, you will lose RP for United Wynn and their allies, but gain some for any factions against them. The RP system goes from -1000 to +1000

    Cities: Ragni, Nemract, Detlas, Almuj, Troms, Nesaak, Rymek, Maltic, Lusuco, Elkurn, Ternaves, Bremminglar, and Selchar

    Military Description: Mostly made up of swordsmen, Detlas is the source of Cavalry, getting tribute from Ternaves. They have a powerful naval fleet. Troms sends spearmen to Ragni monthly. Consists of roughly 450,000 active soldiers.

    Side Notes: Once a mighty empire, now struggling to hold it's own land and afraid of war with Gavel.


    Name: Dujgon Nodguj Republic

    Race: Humans

    Capital: Dujgon Island

    Cities: Dujgon City, New Nodguj,

    Military Description: Fearless vikings, very suicidal. Their primary weapon is the battleaxe, but are proficient with longbows as well. They have the most powerful naval fleet in their and neighboring provinces. They have long ships with 20 cannons per side, with the head warship huge, with red sails and 120 total cannons. They have around a total of 400,000 soldiers. As they hate United Wynn, they have decided to promise allegiance to Gavel if a war were to break out.

    Side Notes:
    Very strong people who are at war with United Wynn constantly on and off, worshiping fierce war gods.


    Name: Republic of Gavel

    Race: Villager

    Capital: Llevigar

    Cities: Llevigar, Cinfras, Olux, Gelibord, Lexdale, Ahmsord and Kandon - Beda.

    Military Description:
    The villager people have never been ones to go to war. Now, with the recent tensions with Wynn, they have built up their military to 400,000 poorly trained soldiers. 8000 dwarven mercenaries have also joined them, although they have no ties to the Dwarven Kingdom. Gavel also has close to no ships fit for war, although a lot of ships built for trading.

    Side Notes: Very rich and very greedy.


    Name: Dern

    Race: Various beasts

    Capital: A ghastly, evil city in Dern, not much is known about it.

    Cities: Unknown

    Military Description: Their numbers are somewhere in the millions. Made up of rotting, reanimated corpses like zombies and skeletons. They have trolls, ghasts, pigmen, dern-beasts, corrupted golems, and more evil creatures.

    Side Notes: No-one knows what entity leads such a powerful and massive army, but whatever is beyond evil and more powerful than the Corrupter of Worlds. It is thought by a few that they are going to take advantage of the Wynn-Gavel crisis and launch an attack on the known world, but most think that is highly unlikely.

    Capital: A city in Fruma

    Military Description:
    Around 440,000 highly trained soldiers and mages, led by the renowned General Tolous. The people of Fruma have announced that they will back Wynn if a war to occur. They have also been known to use huge, slow airships to transport massive amounts of troops.

    Side Notes: Have a strict border policy until possible conflict is over.


    Name: Aldorei Nation

    Race: Elves

    Capital: Aldorei Valley

    Cities: Aldorei Valley, Aldorei Town, and Efelim

    Military Description: About 450,000 very powerful, versatile, elite fighters. They believe the Villagers to be innocent, and so they fight for the Republic of Gavel.

    Side Notes: Value honesty and selflessness highly, and are willing to go to war to protect who they believe are right.


    Name: Kingdom of Dwarves

    Race: Dwarves

    Capital: Thanos

    Cities: Thanos, Thesead, Rodoroc, Eltom, and Dogovi

    Military Description: Although a dwarf is short, that doesn't mean that a dwarf is weak. In fact, the dwarves are a powerful force to be reckoned with. Although they haven't taken sides, it seems everyone wants the dwarves to fight for them. The dwarves have a military of 300,000 well trained, strong fighters.
    (You could negotiate with them, and get the dwarves to join you.)

    Side Notes: They love mining and shiny things.


    There are also smaller factions you will encounter across the world, and they are less powerful, but still can leave a mark on the world:


    Name: United Pigman Tribes

    Race: Pigmen

    Capital: A village in the Pigman Ravines

    Cities: Many villages dotted around the Pigman Ravines.

    Military Description: The Pigmen have around 650,000 poorly equiped fighters. They have remain hostile to anyone who crosses their territory. (You might negotiate with them to join your side.)

    Side Notes: What makes them more than just an annoying force of tribals attacking trade caravans going to Troms through the passage is their close proximity to Ragni. An organized assault on the town could be devastating.







    Name: Creeper Confederation

    Race: Creepers

    Capital: Creeper Town

    Cities: Creeper Town

    Military Description: A lot of suicide fighters. They also seem to have poisonous skin. Their numbers are unknown.

    Side Notes: They announced themselves to the world only recently, and are a cautious nation. Their one weakness makes them a joke to the rest of the world is that they are armless. (You could negotiate with them to join your side.)


    Name: Gerten Republic

    Race: Gerts

    Capital: Gert City

    Cities: Gert City


    Military Description: The Gerts have strong, slow, poorly trained, hungry warriors. About 1,000,000 of them. Most fight to eat the corpses of defeated opponents. They have sided with Wynn and urge them to attack first.

    Side Notes: Have been seen eating numerous things like emeralds, bones, rocks, wands, and armor.


    Name: Desert Bandits

    Race: Human

    Capital:Invaded Barracks

    Cities:Invaded Barracks, Safehouse: Oasis, Safehouse: Mine

    Military Description: A bunch of bandits that rob travelers of their belongings and sometimes kill them. 10,000 of them operate in the desert, while there are 5,000 that operate in the savannah.

    Side Notes: Their leader is the son of Ba’al, Da’al. He is ruthless and has been known the enjoy stabbing captives to death.
    They might be hireable as mercenaries


    Name: WynnExcavation

    Race: Human/Villager

    Capital: Presumed to be somewhere in Gavel

    Cities: None

    Military Description: No military of it’s own. It mostly hires mercenaries to act as guards or assassins.

    Side Notes: After Amadel was slain, a new, unknown villager took over the company. They now have a total of 7 sites, although some think a secret “Site H” may exist somewhere.

    Name: Zhight Islanders

    Race: Villager

    Cities: The Holy Citadel of Zhight Coolness and Awesomeness

    Capital: The Holy Citadel of Zhight Coolness and Awesomeness

    Military Description: Not much military presence. Mostly farmers and etc. They are known to brew a powerful concoction that improves intelligence though... their island might be a nice naval base too.

    Side Notes: Their leader, Zhight, is a enigmatic and insane figure who rules his people with an iron fist.

    1: No metagaming. For example, if someone in the RP is weakened when they come in contact with water, and your character has no way of knowing, you cannot say “I splash them with water.”

    2. Be serious. Example: If a merchant asks you “So, what'll it be for you? The sword is only two Liquid Emeralds.” you can't throw a bowl of noodles at him and eat his face off.

    3. Be realistic. Example: If your character is human, you can't say “I fly from Detlas to Olux”

    4. Say Potato in your app to prove you read the rules.

    5. You determine the action, but I determine the results. This means you can't code what's going to happen. For example, if you say “I ask him what his name is.” You cannot decide the name.

    6. Please make characters lore friendly. Don't do this:

    Side: it sided with neither Wynn or gavel, he chose to side with the Soviet Union

    Character Name: Phoenix (no one knows the real name)
    Age: Looks in his 20s
    Race: Human
    Gender: Male?
    Backstory: Born in Fruma and grew up there but then learnt about A hero who slayed like a boss and wanted to be like him/her. So Phoenix travelled to Ragni at the age of 15 and wanted to be an archer. He trained in Ragni but his aiming was rubbish so they kicked him out. He was on his way back to Fruma when he saw a farmer getting chased by a troll of some kind. Phoenix wanted to help but he had no weapons. Then he saw a weird stick that seemed to call for him. He picked it up and then threw it at the troll. It hit the troll square in the head! But how did he aim it right? He had usually had rubbish aim. As the Troll devolved into mist he then realised that being a magical mage was the answer. Ever since then he went looking for guidance and he found a natural skill for wand work. That gets to the point of Where he is now in Dernal jungle seeking more infomation about the wonders of magic...
    Primary Weapon: A Dark oak staff witth a Ocean shard at the tip and a phoenix feather running all the way through the middle. With the Phoenix feather being fire and the Ocean shard being water the wan is very deadly because they react together to make a very explosive result! It deals lots of Water damage and has fast speed. The ocean shard can be swapped with a magma heart but it takes lots of energy to swap. When swapped it does an epic amount of fire damage but it has a slow attack speed.
    Secondary Weapon: A much smaller birch wood wand with a smooth misty white pearl at the end. Deals air damage and is Super fast attack speed.
    Armor: Has legendary diamond boots that have DR: 10 MR: 30 called Forest Aura. Has a Rare leather chestplate with DR: 15 and MR: 20. Has no helmet. Total of DR: 25 and M: 50
    Starting Place: Dernal Jungle seeking advice from a powderful mage.
    Side: Weaknesses: Earth Damage and some non magical objects.
    Strengths: Fire/Water, Air and Magic! Also knows a bit of healing

    Backstory: born in the city of troms he trained from a young age in combat forms and has grown quite advanced over the years.
    He trained alongside many powerful people including the slayer of qira themselves. since the hero's death he has gone on to become a general in the human army.
    Primary weapon: A long dagger made from the webs of the hive and coated in the 5 strongest powders
    Secondary weapon: A crossbow made from light forest wood and arrows made from the same wood but the points were forged in Thanos
    Armor: Helm of light DR: 10 MR: 15, a chestplate made from ore found on one of the islands near ahmsord DR: 15 MR: 20, A rusted pair of leggings with a damaged knee armor DR: 30 MR: 1o, and boots found at the bottom of the ocean near pirate town DR: 20 MR: 10

    Wanted Dead: Slevis the Necromancer
    Crimes: Murdering countless villagers and humans, robbing a bank
    Warning: He is dangerous with dark magic
    Current whereabouts are unknown


    Continuing from the War of the Provinces: Slevis started in the town of Elefim. Then he robbed the bank of Cinfras, making him the enemy of Gavel, granted, he was already the enemy of Gavel and Wynn...but he pissed them off more. Then, he teleported to Nessak and met an Elf with an airboat. Finally, he went to Almuj, buying enchanted robes when he was interrupted by a group of hunters from Gavel. Now, he is currently trying to get his enchanted robes.

    Primary Weapon: Nightmare Rod: A dark staff used mainly for dark magic.

    Spells:
    Teleport: Teleport to the desired area
    Dead Star: Summon a meteor that deteriorates targets
    Snake: The utility version of snake. It grabs, annoy, and distract targets, but not hurt
    Skeleton Army: Summon two skeletons, but they have weak weapons and are brittle.
    Life Steal: Steal the target's life, healing you
    Summon Monster: Summons an unknown monster from the depths of the nether.
    Conjure Demon: Summons an unbound demon in front of you. It will fight your enemies, but be warned: It will attack you once it's done with enemies.
    Banish: Use this holy spell to banish demons and undead, sending them back to the nether instantly.

    Spell 1: dagger strikes: I strike 10 times with my dagger and finish with a slice across the neck
    Spell 2: enchanted bolt: I fire a bolt from my crossbow with powerful magics infused
    Spell 3: shadow immobilize: I melt into the shadows and appear behind my enemy and hold my dagger to their neck
    Spell 4: healing burst: I fire an arrow from my crossbow that has a vial of healing potion on the end and an explosive right beneath this combonation results in a burst of healing to everyone around me
    I was kinda going for a reference to the abysso galoshes...

    ???'s Naga family was attacked by humans looking for a witch that had a outlawed flower. ??? Declared war upon humans and traveled to, and trained in Llevigar for months to soon meet the day where he went at war.

    Spells; Camouflage: Tune in to your surroundings and almost immediately paint yourself in the structures around you; Knert's applied skin makes this possible.

    Other: The Nagas had dyed ???'s skin teal for camouflage giving extra tactics for battle. This made Knert a very viable resource for the assassinations squadron.

    At Knert's young age, his Naga parents enrolled him in a tutoring school, run by a witch in a cave. This taught Knert the basics of English and a little more requirements to be matured

    You stare at the thief and say,
    "But it is my business, for my duty is to the King and what you're doing may or may not be illegal."
    The thief spits at you're feet and rushes at you with a dagger, slicing at your chest. Your armour takes the brunt of the impact.

    The archer accompanying you shoots a well aimed arrow at the thief's arm, it hits its mark.
