Uh, the texture pack for pregavel was awesome imo
I hate the new wynn texture pack I`d rather have sticks, shovels, bows and a shear for fighting
Gavel has awesome quests and weapons tho
    50/50

I like the gavel update, but there are still not enough quests to level up, and I'm having to spent 75% of my leveling XP by grinding for hours. The builds are nice, but I liked having the option of using a Texturepack or not. Idk, I'm just used to growing up/leveling up with the default textures.

Even though the world is way bigger, I still haven't explored all of it. Back in the pregavel wynn, we were all so comfortable together trading at detlas and exploring the dunes of almuj. We loved to be placed into an environment where you know where you are and where you're going. The size of the map also pushed us to run into new players, too. We could help new players use points, find quest npcs, and grind for emeralds. We all remember running along the Nivla forest to the gleeful tunes of a noteblock's hum, passing the ruins guarding the gate to a new world in the valley of time, and stepping past the orchards in front of detlas on our way to use our first bank. We grew with Wynncraft, and it grew with us.

I'm not saying the gavel update is bad at all, I just miss some of the old times with friends that filled my heart with excitement to continue my quests on Wynncraft.
It may not be clear which I do like better, but each update holds experiences that are far beyond us. Only if we're willing to try them.

What old wynn are you talking about? Pre-gavel Wynn? Pre-1.12 Wynn? Pre-Ocean update Wynn?

I'd still choose new wynncraft erryday.

I have watched many YT videos before I actually started playing wynn due to the fact I did not have a computer to play. Lets just say I knew as much as if I played wynncraft. :)

New Wynn is just mechanically a hell of a lot better than Old Wynn. In my opinion it just completely blows its previous iterations out of the water now.

Although pre-Gavel was much less complicated without all this elemental damage and whatnot, the post-Gavel was much better. I mean, the increasing of landmass, the infinitely better quests, the beautiful landscape, it just beats pre-Gavel.
