It was overpowered and overly abusable, so it was nerfed. Simple as that.









I'd love to see someone get to Lv 101 simply by grinding these enemies anymore.

 

Are we at least gonna get another grinding spot in the future other than frozen heights?

 

logic:

1.4.1 goal: give more XP and give nostalgia and new gameplay systems, and states that Wynn was "100% grinding"

This: guess what, 100% grinding!

 

do those mobs still drop loot?

 

Better XP they said, all I have now is an empty bar of level 95 and which now is ungrindable...

 

Two main problems with our content:

1. "Less grindy gameplay!"
-Quests from level 83-90 consists of only 1 quest per level (with the exception of level 85), and since XP bonus doesn't affect quests anymore, they only give you half of a level. Thus, forcing us to grind the other half of the level.
-Only grinding spot that has a good mob spawn rate is Freezing Heights. Other places tend to spawn a huge chunk of mobs but either give lesser XP or tend to spawn in lesser numbers after a while. Seriously we need better spots other than Freezing Heights, nobody wants 15 players crowding there to grind during double XP sessions.

2. Rate of producing content
-While being a builder myself I do confirm that we work a lot to make new and unique content for players, but I feel that a reason players are leaving is because we produce content too slowly.
-Normally we release new content in the form of a huge update, consisting of quests, mechanics, new items and so on. This is good, but I feel that the Developers should release new content in smaller updates. This can ensure we have (1) a nice flow of small regular updates rather than wait 9 months between each massive update. We can have small updates introducing new quests, or another update explaining a new mechanic. If a new area of the map is to be added these will be reserved for "big" updates. (2) playerbase is always constant, with no players leaving. At the same time YT people can make videos of our server and attract players. While they are making videos a small update has been rolled out and they can go check it out. (This might've been the reason Yogscast Martyn quit his series a long time ago, due to lack of new content. Now we don't want to make Sjin leave too, don't we?)

Humm it's better to tell the community by yourself tbh, coz you know it's gonna be discovered sooner or later so you guys would just seems like jerks if u kept it secret at the first place

You know that has soon as you posted it on the forums, mods who will read this thread will be able to spectate you and find where you're hiding this "op grinding" spot.
You already spoiled yourself if it's a spot that's not meant to exist by the people in charge of the gameplay's standards

Normal grind spot m8, just better than freezing heights for lvl 95+

 

Tell us then. What, you're scared people will know your "secret" spot? This is a community server, nothing is yours. I'd say you help everyone out here than being a selfish jerk.

If it's not broken, as you say it is, it won't be nerfed and shouldn't be.
If it's broken, it should be nerfed, unless you want the situation of the Spined Devils / Enthralled Slayers to repeat.
