Mage/Dark Wizard Help : Why Tb

Hey,
I am here again because I have a pure, and I want to use it. But I dont know the best build for it. I am level 92, but I am grinding for dark channeler or something. This is what I am using now:
-Third eye
-Soul signal (maybe aquarius later)
-Leggings of desolation (dark channeler when I hit level 93)
-Memento

-raindrop
-raindrop
-Squid anklet
-Stormy amulet

-Pure.......

I want to change the raindrops, because they have -spell%, dont want to use 2/4 concentrations (I dont have much money).

I hope this is good, if you see anything where you think: why the **** is he using that, pls say what is better. Keep in mind I am only level 92-93

use a moon pool circlet from hive. and then maybe yang / reminder and maybe tidal cuz it has 2/4 mana water damage and int squid does not have int. calming torc may be better than stormy but idk it's int + water dmg.

 

I think Sodetas are better cuz mage needs more % spell dmg than raw

 

it really depends on the other items with this build yeah sodeta would be good due to insane raw already

 

Third eye is pretty standard for int builds, its *clicks tongue* quality

Raw spell isn't really a mage thing though. Mage has no multihitting spells, and is centered around dph. Anything that gives water damage and spell damage % (not raw) is better for a mage. Try switching out pants for other things. If you do not care about defense, try seipodon, otherwise go with veneer. For a chestplate, I'd recommend booster if you care about your walk speed, otherwise dreamcloud or stillwater blue.

Like other posters, I'd recommend sodeta, but when you get to level 99, capricorn. It has tons of % spell, +int, +walk speed, raw spell, etc. It is THE boots for this type of build, while memento is more for mono-water/water-earth.

Jewelry: You don't need to put full mana regen on everything, anything over 12/4 mana is enough for infinite spells on mage.

pure: *pure is literally a big joke, its not very good. Though it has high base spell %, it has extremely low base damage. I've found that even ohms wish outdamages a low % spell roll. Honestly, do the damage calculations, its horrid: 1(normal attack speed)*75(max damage)*6.2(max spell)*4.5(meteor multiplier)*1.8(stat boost damage)*2(dex hit) is still < 8k with a completely maxed hit * I recommend lament if you can get it, but if you can't: Requiem, yggsdrasil, deepwood rot, or lunar spine.

 

Do not use legging of deso, it has the potential to halve your water dmg

Fair enough. Lunar spine works if you are going for agi over defense. Channeler is fine I guess.

Finally, if you did not notice, ethereal (as did all the level 70 legendary ) took a large hit (nerfed) still useful, but ehh

well memento grants more HP and more mana regen

 

The sodetas have up to 3/4 mana regen also and i dont see why would you want even more raw spell dmg when the meteor is a one-hit attack and %spell dmg is more useful for it. Also there is already a ton of raw spell dmg in this build
