"please Help" Theory.

Every now and then you will see a post with the title "Please Help" or "Why me" (I saw one with "Give me your items cos I lost mine.")

You click on it and it goes " I lost my legendary/mythic/whatever because the server restarted/I crashed/ THE FUCKING CONTENT TEAM IS SHIT I LOST MY FUCKING AZ! (Yep. That was from the same one.) Please help/can i get it back/EVERYONE ON THIS FUCKING SERVER OWES ME AN AZ NOW! (See Above)

So, who thinks that these so called "Newbies" are actually scamming us? What if, you lose your mythic whilst they gain TWO! Mythics. Or even, you "sell" a mythic for free just because you feel sorry for a "Noob". Vote on Poll.

Some people do legitimately lose their items to bugs and glitches, and it's often based on their standing in the community what the responses are more likely to be. If you see someone you've never met before saying they lost their powerful items to a bug, there's a higher chance that the 'No Refunds' message or the like will be posted as the victim is both inexperienced with the terms of Wynncraft, and the community doesn't know the player well enough to trust they're telling the truth.

However, if you see someone you know a lot better and has a better standing in the community, the responses are more likely to be more sympathetic and helpful, due to how well the victim is known and how trustworthy they are; as they're not likely to be lying.

I personally always trust in players having experienced the bug myself, but if a player randomly loses 10 Mythics and wants them back, chances are they're just trying to play the sympathy card to get free stuff.

Thats why the no refund rule exists, its to ensure that no one abuses the rule and just asks for free stuff, but there are genuine people who have lost something valuable via glitch, bug, or just afking in a dangerous area, but can do nothing about it.

Really its the players choice to decide whether he is innocent and has actually lost something and give them something free, or if they're guilty. So its a 3 way road, don't help, help and get scammed, help and don't get scammed, its the players choice
