Solution Yahya's Hopper

Hello again!

We (I and @Taggrin ) have now found a way to get in to the secret room in Yahya's house!

To get in you need to drop 3 items in the hopper!
NOTE: You need to start ??? before you can go in!
If not you get access denied!

- Painting. (A map) (You can find out how to get the painting here!)
- Small Mushroom. (You get the item in the mushroom cave (The Bigger Picture cave) You also need to be in the small part of the cave (Where you are small)

We found this out from this text:
"The forgotten scientist requested a utensil." = Spoon
"On the island of insanity lies the jewel of the eye." = Painting
"The madman's favorite food lies in a place of changing perspective." = Small Mushroom

When you drop in all the items a way will open right inside the house! (1x1 hole)

Here is where the hole will open:





When you go down and walk thru the place you can hear a tripwire sound but nothing happens, there is barriers blocking you off from a puzzle. You won't get teleported in to the puzzle, you are basically stuck. (I gone guess a bug)




I think this might be the next step!

What if you bring the Talking Mushroom to the room and a dialogue will activate when you activate the tripwire

 

so do we do this or the teleporter thing first smh

 

can you still get the spoon if you have already done the quest.

I am on server 2 at yahya's house with a fresh talking mushroom, so if anyone has the 3 items come on server 2 and we can see if there is any special dialogue.

Welp, looks like we have to wait for a map push to fix this. I'm going to guess that the next step is the stone pressure plates, which we already know how to do.

Me and @Melted tried to cross the tripwire while under nemract whiskey effect, didn't work, maybe we need the unusable one from the seaskipper

You ain't stuck, you just can't enter. I think the wire checks for some sort of item. A key e.g.

 

maybe the god damn drunkness potion? someone try it
