I Need Some Help With Shader Mods

So I've been trying to install some shaders for minecraft, because the vanilla game is pretty boring to look at, but I've run into some issues. Basically I've been able to install OptiFine and GLSL just fine, but when I actually put anything into the shader packs folder, I have some problems. A lot of the shader packs I've tried just don't seem to register with it (no shader shows up in the "shaders" tab). I was able to successfully install SEUS, but when i run it, it gives me several error messages and makes it so that most of my screen is black, with a tiny area in the corner showing the game as normal but with inverted colors. Anyone have any idea what's wrong, or know of any shader packs that will work?

some shaders aren't compatible wich each other.
and so sometimes don't register!

They also could, be unstable, and so don't register either.

about the black screen.
Its you're graphics card probably.
Not able to handle some shaders.

Depending on the shader your using of course, try using others.
and see what works!

Quick suggestion, don't install any early builds of shader packs.
They could be bugged and unstable.

I use Sildurs Shaders, there's Lite Versions made for toasters and bad graphics cards, but it all looks the same.
OptiFine also comes with GLSL Shaders Mod now, so it might be conflicting.

 

What I meant by this was that I had installed OptiFine, which includes GLSL.

 

Try Sildur's Shaders.
Put the entire .zip file into it.

 

Well it worked, but whenever I look at a side of a block that isn't directly illuminated, it has a weird green pixelated effect. Any idea what's going on?

would it be possible for anyone to that actually got the shaders to work, gives steps how they did it?
I have ran shaders before but this is a bit different for me since i am not quite sure where the mods used for wynn craft is at so i just guessed, and seems like i guessed wrong.

I have installed optifine and forge, and put the Sildur's Shaders compress folder into a shader folder, but there is no sign of the game recognizing any of it.
