Yahya , Sohso , Mehme and Nohno are the survivors??
They got hit by the Meteor , the one who died is Soho MAYBE ?? "One died poor man"
So Yahya , Sohso and mehme are the left BESIDES the one who saved them .
Yahya , that he got infected by the meteor BUT still alive, is the one that lost his sanity and became a mushroom addict , and Nohno became a chicken obsess, that maybe explains the entrance we got in using Mechanical ship and yahya is the old brother they were talking about .

What we can do :
"The sign said they relocate to the surface" , maybe searching the surface of molten height is good. Or searching more inside of the old dogun city where the signs are, maybe they added something.

I don't get the Nohno = died part.
