Speculation New Meteor Shard - What Is It For?

So, the flying meteor was just discovered here, and someone else discovered that itemS called Meteor Shards spawn inside. But what could these shards be for?

Here is my idea (Make sure to read the post I mentioned)

1. The hopper may align with either 892 or -892
2. The hopper may be near one of the brothers, most likely Yahya or Nohno since the lore in the meteor mentions them both
3. The item may work in the hopper at yahya's home, but that's a bit of a guess.

What do you all think?

 

What about molten heights, the drastic volcanic landscape could've been formed by a red meteor

 

Red meteor is still flying it didnt hit the ground

 

There where multiple white meteors, there can be multiple red ones aswell

 

moutain blow up due to decay , not meteor

 

The decay hasn't even reached the canyon

 

so how did a red meteor formed the whole mh w/ red?

if it does crash to molten height , everything will be destroy , not formed into red

Lake gylia was formed by a meteor

 

its a "lake" , it has "water" , that reduced the damage of the meteor

 

grian said in one of his videos about gavel that the molten heights blew up due to the decay
