Media Estimate For When We Get The Main Questline

I had the impression that this update would include the main questline, but after reading the patch notes I was pretty disappointed. The update's awesome but I'm just asking your guys' opinion on when we might get this questline. Have any predictions? Odd things related to the main questline? My guess for when it comes out is sometime around January, or Soon™.

Gavel took like 2+ years over their original date that it was supposed to be out. Don't count on it soon.

Yeah but we've seen teasers for this main questline before Gavel was even out (I might be wrong but I know it was sometime around Gavel's release). I just want it to come out in January since that would be a nice birthday present :P

 

I'm quite sure back when I played last (mid 2014), that they had said it would have been out by then.

Don't get me wrong, it'd be awesome if it was out soon. I just doubt it. They had been talking about Gavel for a long time before it came out. I'm not sure about teasers, but it had been common knowledge for a very long time.

See, the staffs problem is they start with a simple idea, then get more and more until they delay just to make all this cool stuff they just thought about. Well, I guess that's not a problem but a sometimes annoying quality.

Well, let's look at what they said they were going to do next:
-Some guild update?
-Complete rework of Wynncraft code

Before both of these, they are likely to fix any bugs there might be still. This will probably take a month, bringing us to October.
The guild update (at least I think it was a guild update, can't remember exactly what it was) probably won't take very long, but we know how glitchy guilds are, so I'm going to say 3 months. That will bring us to January.
After that is the code rework. Now they said this would take 2-3 months, but I'm just going to add another month to that just in case. So 4 months brings us to May.
After this, they will probably do the main storyline, BUT that probably won't be the only thing in the update. There might be those dungeons in Gavel, more endgame quests, and the Molten Heights storyline too! This will probably take a VERY long time to complete. I'm going to say 4 months because they've probably done some of it already (we did see some of these things in teasers after all). 4 months brings us to next September.

Yes, I am actually guessing this could be out next September.
