Speculation Possible Solution To ???

So on the first day of the Gameplay Update, I went to Thesead and found a Strange Mushroom behind the Mayor's house... http://imgur.com/a/5tdXt
I then learned that people were speculating that there are 4 items needed for ???; the Talking Mushroom, Black Spoon, a Bowl (not Yahya's, you can't drop it on the ground), and a fourth item, which I believe is the Strange Mushroom. People also speculated that these are tied to the four brothers; Yahya, Nohno, Mehme, and I believe Sohso. Yahya and Nohno's locations each have a golden pressure plate and Yahya's has a hopper carpet (not sure about Nohno's). Yahya also gives a clue to the Black Spoon, saying that he needs a spoon that is "yellow... no, black!" He only says this after you finish his quest and talk to him afterwards.
So what am I proposing here? I'm saying we need to find Mehme and Sohso's locations and find their pressure plates and hoppers. Since Yahya gives a clue to the Black Spoon, maybe he needs a Black Spoon for his hopper, and the other brothers hint towards the other items. So what if we get four people in the four different locations with the four different items and at the same time drop the items into their respective hoppers. Not sure about the golden pressure plates though, someone mentioned something about hopper locks so maybe we need to put an emerald or something on the pressure plate to open up the hoppers.
My friend (@Foxbuscus), also proposed an idea with the Altum Spacium and said that Mehme (or Sohso) was at the end of the original ??? quest. Unfortunately we could not access the original room, but it is plausible that the Altum Spacium may have to be given to Mehme or Sohso, or even Yahya and Nohno. We also need to find Mehme and Sohso, because I have no idea where they are. Its also possible that its only 3 brothers, as the Mechanical Piece or whatever its called mentions only 3 locations. Yahya is by the red and brown (mushrooms), Nohno is on Rooster Island looking at the blue (ocean), and Mehme or Sohso might be something yellow-related.
I unfortunately lack the time and patience to gather four people and give them the four untradable items. So I'm hoping you guys will take my idea into consideration and try it out for yourselves. Let's just hope this works.
(Sorry if this is already the general consensus for the ??? quest, I just came up with it today and hoped it would work)

Plausible. Not likely, but plausible.
I think Nohno's dialogue hints towards Cluckles' feather.

3. Sohso is dead
4. The Mechanical Chip (I believe) is only describing one place (in three sentences) - I belive it is behind Gylia Watch near the Gert Camp. I am not sure if that is ??? related though

 

1. Well I saw no reference to it here, so might as well mention it.
2. No idea. Maybe the Mechanical Chip refers to where it would open.
3. Where is Sohso from anyway?
4. Sooooo maybe the place that opens is Gylia? Who knows.
Also where the hell is Mehme

 

Mehme (the one addicted to wood) as far as we last saw him was in the old ??? end spot.
There is some lore behind the old ??? end spot talking about how the meteor made them all crazy and how Sohso ran (but died while) off to Fruma.

 

Where did it say that he died?

 

Hmmm, you might be onto something since the Purple & Blue thingy is related to cosmic things, just like Mehme.

 

dunno but some kinda thing i missed on said he died. Seeing that a lot of pple are saying this. dammit i wish i met him in fruma ;-; smh

 

Sohso did not die, otherwise we won't have a main story-line connection to Fruma and the point of explicitly telling us he escaped to Fruma would become irrelevant meaning it was just a waste of time and that doesn't make sense.

 

I did some exploring, and nohno does not have a hopper carpet

I also looked for other quests involving brothers (Enzan's brother and Slayeros' brother) neither of which at any of the brothers had anything out of the ordinary except for at slayeros' dead brothers tomb there is a wither skull behind one of the walls with water in it in an item frame that says "Got" when you mouse over it.

Where did it say Sohso died? The signs said "I hope Sohso makes it out alive, I heard he is going to Furma." or something along those lines. I don't know the exact quote but I know it says that he hopes Sohso makes it out alive. It never says Sohso died to my knowledge.

 

Couple quick tips for you:

The spoon from 'memory paranoia' is just a spoon, it is not a 'black spoon', I have one. If you activate a pressure plate and there is a hopper next to (or under) the block that the plate is energizing the hopper will lock, the hopper will still accept items but they will not move from it.
