    i can help tommorow, but it's called a MECHANICAL chip for a reason. perhaps check around places that have a bit of electricity? maybe llevigar power plant? golem factory? idk...

    Dropping chip in seaskipper doesn't do anything.
    Dropping chip in yahya's house without being on plate doesn't do anything.
    Dropping chip in yahya's house on pressure plate doesn't do anything.

    No, it just means the server was already taken. You can only get the mechanical chip once per server. Once the server restarts, it refreshes. If it has a green checkmark, someone already took it. If it has a red X, then no one has taken it yet and you can do it.
