Discussion Old And New ??? Linked?

Ok, I know I am going to sound like a total noob for saying this but....

the old ??? is now fair game to talk about. I was not able to get to the quest before the update, And we went from Not being able to talk about it, to not knowing what to do. From the little I have heard about Old ???, It is ether a location hunt or a Puzzle. I seen and heard about the 'Stone Pressure plates'. And I just kinda made the connection that the two might be related. I fell like somehow the secrecy of the old ??? plays into this somehow.

 

The only connection is that both quests are related to the 4 brothers of Wynn; Yahya, Nohno, Mehme and Sohso.

 

If you're implying to check the meteor sites, this has already been done.

I mean, a secret room has been found at bot Yahya and Nohno's houses.

 

The new ??? Is VERY likely to be linked with the old ???, but the solutions are completely different.

 

Imagine it's not. I'd be laughing so hard for the next week.

The fact that secret rooms exist beneath two of the brother's houses.

And the previous ??? was literally about discovering 2 of the 4 brother's existence

Oh, then whos sohso? I thought sohso was the ??? guy

 

No, Sohso is the guy talked about only in Lore and in signs found in the Hidden ??? Room, not the official ??? room

 

So who is he? What is his addiction? What is his story?

 

He's one of the four brothers, his addiction is unknown, since he's never been seen and it's unknown whether he went insane like the others or not, and his story is the same as the others; they researched a mysterious meteor, and possibly went insane. The only difference is that we're unsure about his sanity and he traveled to Fruma, or attempted to do so.

 

Can I please just state
New ??? Has nothing ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to do with the old ??? As such mehme and his relatives are 99% a red herring

Then maybe thats it! Hes unkown, just like ???. Maybe hes in a house overlooking the ocean.... between brown and red, and under a gold pressure plate, but a different house! Im on the search now, looking for unused houses
