What Currently Is Probably The Best Class Now?

Since some things were nerfed and buffed, along with a ton new legendaries and items....

What is probably the best class now?
because I'm thinking about starting a new character to enjoy all the new features as if I was new to the game again.

So.... In your opinion after this new update. What is probably one of the best classes to play? (Solo and with an additional friend)

(I took like a 4 month break from Wynn, that's why I'm asking this question :P )

All of them are equally balanced, and have their strengths and weaknesses.
What you should pick depends on your playstyle, and that should be easy to figure out by looking at the descriptions & abilities

 

mage, warrior, and archer are all the best class.

not even close. You can usually kill an archer easily, they don't take that many hits. Mages are unkillable

 

That's pvp wise, and most people don't spend their time in the nether

Well... Ok. But archer still does large amounts of damage. I'll stop arguing now...

 

Most people don't spend their time in duels. But, ok

 

It's... A very interesting question. Normally I would say PvE-wise, mage is best equipped to handle it due to large aoe spells and the ability to heal away any damage taken. However pvp wise, I find that since most builds oneshot people, archer builds are a bit stronger because agi can block the damage taken.


However that was pre update. I have no clue what it's going to be like in a week or two, when people optimize their builds

 

Take this with a grain of salt, I main assassin. As far as PvE goes, they're all balanced (more or less). With the Gavel update each class has strengths depending on their spells due to having elements tied to them. Assassin does lose a little bit of utility due to Vanish not having an elemental damage with it, but it makes up for it with Smoke Bomb being pretty powerful. Mage is quite useful due to having a heal spell and a pretty powerful meteor. Archer has multiple high damage spells with Arrow Storm and Arrow Bomb. Warriors have a very useful crowd control spell with Uppercut and Bash.

tl;dr: Every class has it's own utility.
