My Thoughts On ??? Progress

Started a new character a couple of weeks ago for my 'Gavel' run (I know I'm late). I have been following the 'search for something' ??? quest community progress. I find it all very interesting but I have a couple more days to level 80 and I'm assuming the start of the quest cannot be triggered till then.

Can't help but notice all the talk about 'this hopper' or 'that pressure plate' on the forums, but honestly when I am in game I've noticed almost every structure in Wynncraft 'looks suspicious' and has carpet, plates or hoppers, excavation site D even has a meteor in it (or something that looks like one). Take Yahya's 'hopper' for instance, did it occur to anyone that the redstone involved could be checking your ??? progress before accepting anything?

My impression is that everyone wants to be 'first', and would skip the entire quest just to get to the ending if possible. I also get the impression that if someone has triggered the quest start they probably aren't saying anything, for fear of not completing it first. Not sure how the community can get past this, or if it's even possible....we might all be waiting for one person to complete the entire thing before they share how they did it.

I don't have all the answers to said problems, but I do believe we need to focus on finding the quest start. I seriously doubt that throwing random items at things is how the quest starts, if I had to guess, I'd say one of these newly added (non-quest) interactive NPC's has something to say.

Long story short, merely suggesting we focus on finding the start first.

 

That's exactly how the last one started, and it's the only way to make a quest unfair.

 

And the start is likely under Yahya's house.

 

I mean we have seen a screenshot of someone under Yahya's house so that strongly points towards that being the start...

 

Not that I agree or disagree but how so? You don't know who this person is or how they got there.....command blocks can send you anywhere.

 

The coords are exactly under his house, there are mushrooms and quartz everywhere and there is a low level zombie mission. Pretty convincing.

 

Where can I find it?

 

This is what I was trying to say in my initial post, you don't know how he got there and he obviously isn't going to share that...you have no start.

What's making you think yahyas house is the start? That was the first clue posted on this forum, and it's been everyone's only focus. It could be an unfinished quest or a separate Easter egg. There's been a tunnel under the Deltas barracks for quite some time. Everyone thought that's where jums collectible was, turns out it was just an unfinished quest

 

You have second hand information from someone who does not want you to finish first, if he did he'd tell you how he got there. He could have just as easily confirmed your suspicions to keep you headed in the wrong direction....I'd say that's hardly 66%.

That doesn't mean there were not clues, may not have ever been found, and why do you think the quest would be similar? Is there a meteor under Yahya's house?

 

No, but there is a large room under it, with corridors leading off.

 

Well I guess you'll just have to wait till 'mystery man' finds whatever is down there....unless there is nothing....except a pic of a hallway instead of a quest reward.

 

Can someone pay this guy to tell us the items we need to get under there?

 

That pic is fake a level 85 don't get any xp for killing level 3-15 mobs. The mission award should be 0 xp

 

That pic is not fake, XP had an overhaul in the update, the coordinates are correct, the area looks convincing, we even have a friend of the guy in the screenshot to confirm it's not fake.
There is also a twin room beneath Nohno's house.
What more do you need?

How do u know there is a room in nohno island

 

People have posted screenshots, and the coordinates are just off th coast of Rooster Island.

 

I have looked every single shiver in rooster island couldn't find anything that opens the hall way to that room
