    The Appeal for the Lonely Spider

    This is the lonely spider, a mob that i have a history with, which i partly explain in the link below.

    For the past 4 years, i visited this spider when i came onto the server, since he made me feel less lonely.
    However, the newest update removed him, and replaced him with this. 2016-09-01_14.27.56.png
    The digital entity i visited for the last 4 YEARS, replaced by a rose that looks like a beauty and the beast ripoff.
    When i saw this, i was....very depressed.
    The lonely spider reminds me of how i spent so much of my life alone, and the message is not the same with a non-thinking plant.
    This is why i have not been on the last couple days, since i was really saddened by this loss.
    I know that this argument seems silly to some, but hear me out.
    As a historian in college, nothing depresses me more than something being removed or replaced from history because a higher-up decided it was okay.
    Many horrific events in human history have done this.
    Slavery removed the names of those who were enslaved, Stalin wiped out the histories of those who he had killed, and there are many more examples.
    The lonely spider reminded me of how i was alone and forgotten when i started college, only to make friends and join minecraft.
    I honestly don't know how likely it is that this argument will work.
    But i honestly feel i have to try.
    When you study history, you try to keep a positive reminder of how things can get better, and the lonely spider was mine.
    Please....bring it back.
    I cant express how happy i would be to see it again.
    That is all.

    I support this idea.

    While they're at it, they should make a memorial of the old bridge from nivla to detlas, just to add a little detail to the history of Wynn. With all these big events taking place in the game, it's easy to forget the little things. We need more details to make the world feel real.

    Eh. Am I the only one here that feels that it is unnecessary to start a petition and bring the Lonely Spider back? I'm gonna be brutally honest, this is dumb lol. I know that people tend to have relationships with video game characters, but I feel that we should respect the decision that the staff/CT makes regarding map changes. I know I sound silly to you guys, but again, I don't think there is a need to.

    Sorry if I offended anyone.
