Clue #suspicious Round 2

Okay so earlier today, @sniper101 posted this to the ??? Hunt. I didn't think much of it, but got bored and decided to go grab the t3 chest that was there, as well as check out the surrounding island. The chest was awful. 22e and 2 normal bows. But what I found very, very strange was that in sniper101's post, he mentioned a gold pressure plate. What did I find when I arrived?

A stone pressure plate.

This means that as part of patch #3, this so-called "random" pressure plate was changed from gold to stone. I have no definitive answer for you, but something is up. It worked fine before according to sniper, so the change was unnecessary. It still triggers the vine ladder and some particles to get up to the chest.

Here's what I'm thinking; If my theory (see here) is correct, then I think this is one of the plates I referred to in my theory post. The only explicable reason they changed the plate from stone to gold was because gold pressure plates are weighted pressure plates, meaning that they could be triggered by throwing a bunch of items on them. This would have meant that a player could have just thrown some blocks down, and ran to a different plate, meaning that no one would need to be on that plate. I don't know much about command blocks but maybe this also has something to do with those.

Yo, did you read the replies to that thread? It leads to a T3 chest, I checked it myself.

Did you read my post? I went there for the t3 chest. Reason it's suspicious is because the pressure plate has changed.

 

Yes, it probably has to do with the recent patch. Maybe someone changed the plate?
It's probably just some server differences, I remember finding very minor changes between servers.

Also I got like a stack of emeralds.

 

Can you list any of the other differences you've seen?
