Media Maelstrom Nerf

As you can see here, Maelstrom is missing its mana steal and only has 1 powder slot now. I didn't see anything overpowered about the old Maelstrom and being one of the few people that uses a build based around this bow, I find it kind of annoying that I don't get to have a powder ability. Could a GM give it back 2 powder slots or at least explain why it was nerfed?

 

Also lost 6% spell and melee dmg
And well, this is probably fair considering how chakram and ethereal also got nerfed(idk about scythe)
Maybe a bit too much tho

 

And now my archer is useless because there's no other bow with all three of those elements at once.

Okay but seriously there was NO REASON TO NERF THIS

@Selvut283 is there at least another bow that was added in the update that I can use to replace Maelstrom? One with Thunder Water and Air damage?

 

Well Az got nerfed to 1 powder slot, but was then buffed back to 2 slots after multiple complaints so I don't see why they shouldn't buff Maelstrom back to 2 slots.

Tbh I would use maelstrom from lvl 70-90 then move more into the endgame mythics

 

Maelstrom/Third Eye/Hive Chestplate/Crystal/Steamjet/2x dynamic/squid anklet/royal stormy amulet seems pretty "endgame" to me :P

It depends on preference… Anyways, the point of this thread is to get maelstrom's 2nd powder slot back, not to argue about whether or not maelstrom is considered endgame.

Well yeah, tbh the manasteal and melee/spell nerf should be enough for it

 

Just as a BTW, before the update i had a build that could buff malestrom to 15k bombs and 19k shields so it was a bit OP, i used it until i got to lvl 93 and started using freedom. And as for a bow that does both i remember there was a new unique bow around the upper 90's. I forgot what it was called but it had super fast attack speed i believe and had water and thunder damage.

 

Scythe and Chakram got buffed ( in terms of poison BOTH)

 

chakrams base dmg got nerfed and i think that counts more than poison

 

Am I the only one who felt like this needed a nerf? It had so many good stats that I'm still using it at level 96. I do however feel like nothing should have been removed, there just should have been general nerfs (such as less walk speed and damage) though.

 

EVERYTHING with poison got buffed, I don't think that should count. And Chakram got nerfs both indirectly (attack speed fix) and directly (damage and walk speed nerfs)

 

Yep, Maelstrom got unnecessarily nerfed big time.

You don't even do Earth/Fire damage anymore when using that bow to throw an Arrow Bomb.

 

Quit whinging cause you can't use a powder special; the bow is plenty strong enough without them.

 

Imo if you want water/thunder/air on a bow go for ensa's resolve or misconduct rn, then put thunder or airpowder on respectively.

 

Well -whining- seemed to fix the az nerf, so by logic I can get the second powder slot added back to Maelstrom too. There's no other bow to my knowledge that does all three elements of damage like Maelstrom, so unless you added one that's better, I will keep fighting to get two powder slots on Maelstrom.
