Been Away Since March, What Have I Missed?

So I stopped playing Wynncraft around March this year, because the grind was starting to get boring. I stayed around in the community until maybe July, then got tired of that as well. Lately though, I've started playing Minecraft again (partly because Shaw wifi is garbage and can't support Overwatch), and I decided to revisit the forums today.

I go to the news section and all of a sudden it's "Powders (and everything else) Update" and it's all kind of disorienting. I've gone through the update logs and I think I've mostly of figured out what the deal with those is, but if anyone could fill me in on anything else important that's happened (both in the game itself and in the community), that would be great. Recently we've noticed some stuff that is kinda wonk on the community so we are changing that and trying to make the community a better place, rather than a place where toxicity is just spread out like chicken pox. So we introduced the rank I have now along with giving a list of what Mods do and how we are supposed to act.

So in-game we have the gameplay update now, it is the second half of Gavel the one you have all been waiting so patently for months. It introduces a lot of new things.

Basically a bunch of new items came out along with powders. You are able to Reid items that are identified already, however, the more you Identify it, the more it will cost exponentially. Couple new quests, which includes rework of ??? which is now a community based quest and is atm being worked on. There's a whole forum section to catching up on it if you want to work on the quest also. And that means that info on the old ??? quest is able to be discussed.

Dungeons have changed a lot, don't know too much about it myself but their rewards are suppose to be much better and the dungeon itself is improved to be more fun and challenging. A lot of nerf/buffs/changes to current items pre update in order to balance out more items.

Another thing about powders in case you don't know too much. There are powder masters spread out across towns and areas that will add/remove powders from your gear. And they will upgrade your powders. To guarantee and have a 100% chance of upgrading a certain tier powder to the next, you will need 4 of the same tier. So if you have 4 fire tier 1 powders, you can combine to make a fire tier 2 powder.
