Horse Latency?

After the update, I've noticed horses seem to be kinda strange - I've had issues with my client showing me being one place, but when I dismount I warp back to another place to find I've been stuck on a wall for a few minutes, I've accidentally rode into unloaded chunks and I've even fell through the world a few times for no particular reason.

I'm assuming this is due to lag between the server and client, so I want to know if anyone else has been having similar issues and if it can be sorted.

Are you playing in 1.10 or 1.9? If so, downgrade to version 1.8.9, horses and most other features will be more stable in this version.

 

1.8.9. My horse kicked me off of ahmsord and into the void.

No, I'm to lazy to walk.

 

I havnt had any problems with horses after the update

 

This happens to me too. The horses have literally no latency, like I'm playing on single-player, but when I dismount I end up 100 blocks way. I don't believe I ever had this glitch before the update, and I had been using 1.10 before the update too.

1.8.9 does work I believe, but we can't leave a bug this big unfixed. Not everybody wants to be switching to outdated minecraft versions all the time.
