Since Ragnar is one of the most mysterious character in Wynncraft and as a new hint has been found, I decided to make a thread.

Okay, so far we only got 2 NPCs mentioning Ragnar.

There's one person in the starting area inside one of the houses on the cliff, and he seems to say this:

So he might be the 2nd Bob (at least for Wynn), but this one seems particularly alive.

 

Yes, the Nemract Citizen says 'we should ask Ragnar' so he's probably alive.
Or a zombie.

 

what about that npc in the tutorial area in that house?

In my opinion, Siegfried is your average hero, with his merchandise and fans. But, I don't know much about that man.

 

Plot twist: Ragnar and Siegfried are actually bob

Suprisingly, that would make sense. Fakes his death to go fight a thing, pretends to be Ragnar. Corruption is ending, the world becomes aware of the Decay in Gavel, Bob switches alieses once again, becomes Siegfried.

Only problem is it does not fit with the timeline. Bob WAS hinted by Salted to be alive in Gavel, but if he was 72 when he faked his death, he probably would have died of old age by now.

 

You say this like someone as great as Bob wouldn't have been able to prolong his life.

 

That makes sense.
After all, there's healing water in both provinces.

 

Or, maybe after you defeated his reincarnation in the quest, he realised that he cant stop all of the corruption (since you beat him) himself, and as he did with his animals, he spreads his power across 2 other heroes (yeah ik theres 3 animals... maybe theres a 3rd "hero" we are not aware of?) To help protect against the corruption

And, as Death notes, people are finding more ways towards immortality, such as the Lazarus Pit and that other one in Wynn.

 

well, that would make sense as to why siegfrieds face is no where to be found..

 

Yes, most of the villagers won't/don't recognize him, but when the humans come he hides.
