SPOILER Suspicious Crate

I found one of these on my way to Canyon and killed it. It was a lvl 80 beacon block and when I killed it, it spawned some mimic thing. Anyone know what it does? (Found mine at 122,-4567)

 

It drops emeralds or mimics.

 

It's a 50/50 chance to either spawn a relatively powerful enemy or drop a whole bunch of cash. The higher the crate's level, the more reward you get and the higher-level the mimic is.

 

I guess you could say that this was a... CRATE find!

i saw 1 at gelibord killed it and got 2 eb

 

I would recommend always trying to kill it from a distance in case of mimic.

 

Heh, this reminds me of the original Aether mod where sometimes a chest inside the Silver Temple could either be a mimic or contain loot.
