Returning After... 2 Years?

Hey!

I used to play non-stop. Have 2 level 75s. I stopped playing for 2 years.

Fast-forward to today. I decide to check out the server.

I log in... and it unequips all my items(including dropping my crazy rare gear, at the time it was the best possible gear, but now it's probably worthless, luckily I managed to snag it back up). Says I need to idtentify them. I have no clue where I am, or what i'm doing, or how to use my items again.

Not to mention the fact that I am 1000% sure I had quite a bit of GC leftover, as well as a LOT of shoutouts, and they ALL seem gone. It was probably 150$ of GC and different shoutouts/items. Unless i'm doing something wrong. :/

Welcome back! You'll see a lot of things have changed. I recommend going to the News section on the forums and seeing both the Gavel and Gameplay Update changelog.

I fixed it.

And I just checked. My assassin is 115% of the way to his next level... I'm guessing XP required for levels got shoved down?

I'm REALLY pissed about my GC though... And since it was so long ago I DOUBT I can get any of it back.

I'll admit this is quite overwhelming. I want to get back into the game (especially with school starting back up. I need an RPG to play mindlessly), but I forget EVERYTHING about the game, and jumping in on a level 50 character for the first time in 2 years (turns out I only have one 75... could have sworn I got two to 75 but I guess not) is not the easiest.

Then you should probably start a level 1 class to get a good feel of how the game works now.

 

To be honest? I'd say reset all your classes. (Yes, you can delete and make new classes now.) It's a hard decision that may seem like a waste of all your effort, but it's worth it for the full gameplay experience.

 

I can't bring myself to do that. I have 3 blank character slots, i'll just use those, and if I need more i'll donate to VIP+ (and probably rebuy the GC I lost.... rip)

 

P sure you can ask the admins and moderators to negotiate some gc back

 

Welcome to gavel buddy :) don't delete your class But I recomend starting at a level 1 class and getting it to level 40 (it shouldn't take long) or at least till you get a feel for the new Wynncraft I also recommend that if you are an archer get a maelstrom or they new mythics like Az Pretty much the weapons that are level 70 before you get bob's mythics are now better. If you sell stuff selling for a stack of Le it is normal because emeralds are much more common. For now since your level 75 aim to get better armor also try to find acessories as they increase your stats.
