Dogun Npc

so while trying to find the thunder VI relic without cords on I found this guy


I couldn't find the books he was talking about.
at the other side of his cavern there is a gate that tps you to somewhere in the canyon of the lost.

 

Ye i saw his name in beta but just assumed he was a quest npc and walked off

Dogun revolt incoming?

 

Dwarves are pretty damn powerful, like seriously. Look at what this one guy says.

They killed that GIANT DRAGON next to the freezing heights! These short guys are pretty damn scary.

The dwarves of Thanos have killed one too.

 

They also have a giant "garge" full of artillery such as cannons and ballistas.

 

3 species?

 

You know those books in the Ancient Rodoroc library?
2 of them has loads of gaps in the words.
I worked out that one of them seemed, at least to me, to say
'Da_s_ to War in the Heights'

Not really sure about this though, but it seems as though Demons would be the last 'species'.

 

Demons don't start with "Da..."

 

1. I think it means Dark or something, Demons wasn't inferred from that.
2. Could be Daemons.

I spent ages trying to figure out what the first word was and just couldn't manage it, so yeah.

 

Daemon could mean 2 things.
1. An old word for demons.
2. A different type of fiend in a few different RPGs.
Since Wynncraft already uses "Demon" I doubt they'd use "Daemon".
It could just be some race the dwarves drove extinct.
Or the mountainous pigmen.

 

It can't be mountainous pigmen, they don't start with Da.

Thing is, Demons DID fight in the war. The Dogun God was a demon, and he commanded the whole Dogun army.
There was also other gods involved, but what if they were demons too?

 

I doubt there was a typo in the lore. Maybe it was a special kind of demon, like "Dark Example Demon". Or just somebody else the dwarves annihilated.
It could be some sort of mercenary/raider race, or it could be the name of the warlord who lead his/her/its people into battle.

 

Or it could not be specifying a species, and instead specify a nation.
I still think it means Dark something, because in the Dogun Ruins, some books refer to the war as the Dark War.

 

If so, then this race could be the focal point of the war. The Dogun and Dwarves wiped this threat out. After that, as the Dogun had suffered far more than the dwarves, the Dwarfs attacked the Dogun.
