Help With New Underice Needed

First of all, i want to say i'm really enjoying the new update, it's really cool. Anyway, i'm doing the new underice, and i have run into a problem. I'm at the part where you need to get bait for the fish thing, I've gone NW of nesaak. I found what looks like the wood cutter camp, i even found a small hut with fish in item frames. However, there is no fish bait anywhere. Can someone tell me where it is? Thanks.

Also, is there any significant difference on which one you give the fish to? I have two characters I can do it on, so this really isn't much of an issue. I'm just curious.

It says south-west of nesaak... that is south-west AND it has a little hut with fish in it!
