Crazy But Thoughtful Theory

Ok to start this off, I am only level 40 but have a pretty good idea on what is going on. The white meteor is is what made pure, and the brothers Yaha, Memeto, and that chicken guy (forgot name). That meteor made the weapon "Pure." Pure is 400 years old, so we have to assume the weapon was either made by the three brothers, or the maker(s) of the weapon tampered or used so much of the meteor that the meteor had unique powers to drive people mad. Also, the Gavel quest "Taproot" suggests the that the decay is extra-terrestrial, suggesting it came from a meteor. Which meteor? The white meteor. That same meteor also drove the people near it mad during the Gavel quest "Star theif." Also in Gavel, there is a book missing in the Cinfras. That book might be the story of bob, the one you find in Ragni's castle. Also, we need to find the missing brother Sosho whom died before the brothers discovered and experimented with the meteor. Like Gale's grave, there are many things related to it. We are also not told which province he is buried in. It can be Fruma, Wynn, Gavel, or Dern. Since the brothers are are villagers we have to assume the meteor was there during the period which I would call "extreme corruption" or pre-mortals. Nonho's little island is also another place of interest. His pet chicken is the only thing that relates the brothers to Bob/Robert. Or is it? Think about it. Yayha has a apprentice. For someone to be a apprentice, the master must be good at what he is doing. Yayha is the fifth master of Bob that Bob never met. Yayha is the master of magic, but not wands. He is the master of Quira and was waiting for Bob but he never came. The thought of teaching one final warrior was what led him to not be driven insane by the white meteor. But then when news of Bob defeating the "extreme crupption" was done without his help, he was driven mad by the fact that it was defeated without his help. When Bob finally found out about Yayha, he rushed to him. However, being that Yayha is driven insane, he left his chicken in the keeps of Nonho, his brother. Nonho wasn't mad, rather, before the chicken was given to him, he was living a sane life in Nemract. When the chicken went into his wing of protection, he was driven mad by the meteor and started his own island of chickens. Knowing what he did, Bob tried to redeem himself by defeating a foul and dark beast even though he was 72 years of age. This led to his death, but inspiring another warrior in Gavel who heard of his tale. Enter Seigferd who also grew up with nothing but eventually succeeded and became one with fame and wealth. I feel like this ??? quest has something to do with this story and timeline. Have anything else I forgot to add? Comment below

The item lore on "Pure" kind of makes it obvious that it is from the ??? meteors. Didn't we all know that part? I suspect that while experimenting they themselves created the wand out of it which drove them insane. Since Mehme has a base inside the a meteor we know they can very well carve out a space into it and thus can probably form a wand. The reason I think the wand drove them insane instead of the actual meteor is because they probably wouldn't have experimented with it if that were the case unless it took effect over time. However with the wand theory has more reason than the other just taking effect over time theory because if they tested the wand they would be actively unleashing the magic instead of just having it sit there like the rock they Mehme has his base in. Maybe both effected their metal state with the rock slowly effecting them and the wand speeding it up when used.

A problem with wand theory is how the player would be able to use it if that was the case. It may be possible that they had studied it for a while before going insane since there is a pretty good base set up and thus the player is, technically going insane while using it. Or maybe the player is immune to the effects having probably quite a lot of points in the intelligence stat. They could explain why Mehme seemed to have stayed fairly sane while his brothers went crazy or Mehme could have done something to take away some of it's power after seeing his brothers go insane.

 

@DuncanAY I think since us players are from "Fruma" unlike villagers that are from Gavel or the natives of "Wynn." During the "Fantastic Voyage" quest and the main Wiki lore, we know that everyone knows of Dern but doesn't dare speak of it because they fear it. White meteor link?

 

While I don't see how Dern would link to this it could have a connection but I doubt it. Maybe the reason Yahya traveled from Gavel to Wynn was to investigate Dern but I kind of doubt that.

Of what? The main post actually has the words, "Yayha is the fifth master of Bob that Bob never met. Yayha is the master of magic, but not wands."

Yeah, I said Yahya is the one who trained Bob as a joke but this, well... not quite sure what to say about it...

A bit later in the post I decided to say my own theory thing though, so yeah.
