Legendary Buffs

I am just wondering what will happen to legendary items which get buffed in the Gameplay Update.
My question is that if you own a pre-IDed item you got from a quest like The Qira Hive or Reincarnation and that item is buffed after the Gameplay Update, how will you turn yours into the post-Gameplay Update version where it is buffed?

I guess we have to Reid?I have some gltiched per gavel items hope it fixes them also.

 

As I have heard from Putrid , Gemini and Gravity have been buffed a lot!

if it is an item like the hive daggers, wouldn't that be abuse of a glitch because on the beta feedback section, i heard that there was a glitch where you could re-ID pre-IDed quest items
