Reaction/Discussion New Boss Altar Found! " Sunrise Canyon " ( All The Info! )

So I'm wandering around the Canyon/Mesa/Rymek Area, when I notice an island(?) that's not connected very well to other areas. So I charge over (literally) and find this!



I'll try to keep this updated as more information comes!

Spoiler: How To Access The Altar

To Access you must first have completed "Canyon Condor" (Level 38 Quest).

The very first "island" you gain access to will be the one you need to use to get to the altar.

This is what the area will look like from the island:


To get to the Altar, you must find a small cave near one of the Elevator Operators:

(Actual Coords: x = 1302, y = 98, z = -1457)

Next you must continue down the cave and head towards the direction of the boss altar, until you reach this area:


You will then press the button that appears in the picture above, and a minecart will come rolling out of here:


And that's it! You've now made it to the Boss Altar!

Coords:
x = 1413
y = 99
z = -1462

In order to make the Altar Activate, you must throw in 12 Coyote Fangs, found by killing Coyotes across the canyon!

You first spawn in this area, and have to walk up to this gate.

You are then teleported into an arena with a Boss named "Rymek Luke".

According to Selvut, this isn't even a GOOD Deadeye. Deadeyes have an avg of 30 Dexterity points.

There are hints in the area for what items it may take, and how many. This is the case with all altars. By the way, there's a better way over than using spells.

 

Nice finding! The boss arena for this one is cool.

 

Then how does an assassin get there....?

 

It looks like there's a way for minecarts to travel across, (Like in Thanos Vaults), but I haven't found a way to make them spawn as of yet.

Literally right after you posted this I found one of the hints. xD

 

Another thing to note is that it always takes items that can be found in the immediate area.

I'd try Gold ingots

 

Yeah someone in my guild suggested that, I'm currently looking for some right now.

EDIT: Gold Ingots do not work.

 

Hmm... Leather? The cows in the canyon drop it. Or maybe feathers from the cockatrice 's minions

 

Leather was used for the Durum boss alter so I doubt they would re-use it.

Do the canyon coyotes or burnt zombies drop anything?

 

The server is restarting, I'll check again once its up if it's up quickly, but if not I'm going to have to go to bed and investigate more in the morning.

Other than rotten flesh and coyote fangs not really much. But I don't think either are what the items we need are.

 

Maybe coyote fangs, couldn't hurt to check?
