A Serious Blunder I Just Noticed With Creeper Infiltration

They force you to identify the Creeper Mask before it can be worn... should this be?

 

Yes. I'm fairly certain this is due to how the Item System functions, so it has to be ID'd before worn.

As in, I don't think they can make exceptions, plus the Creeper Mask has IDs anyways, so why wouldn't it have to be.

It's not really a big deal, since it's cheap to ID and you get it right in Detlas.

 

But in hunger of the ferris they have a mask that is just a quest item no need to be ID'd before it can be worn. And after the second quest it gives you a actual mask that you do ID same with purple and blue aswell.

 

I have no idea what you're talking about. In Purple and Blue, you get a helmet that you do need to ID.

 

That is the quest reward, not the actual quest helmet in Purple and Blue. Also, he meant the gert mask in The Hunger of Gerts that you get without having to id it

 

Huh. Does the gert mask have IDs? I can't remember. If so, it may have to do with the fact that both Purple and Blue and The Hunger of Gerts are both quests designed around the new system, while Creeper Infiltration is old, so they had to convert the item, hence it requiring Identification.

That's just my guess though.

 

In that quest you get the dull helmet you bring it to the quest npc and he gives you back a restored ancient helmet. This one is a quest item. No stats other than HP and Elemental defences. Then once the quest is finished and you talk to the guy for the end of the quest he takes back the helmet and gives you and in ID'd version that you have to ID this one has stats like XP bonus etc. But you get this AFTER the quest is over. Why can't it be the same for this quest?

I think what happened was a moderator skimmed through your post without looking at it fully, and got the wrong conclusion that it was talking about a bug in the WynnCraft Beta environment.

@Headset_O this post doesn't relate to beta, could it be moved back to the general (WynnCraft) section?

Both were made on the same system?? The only difference is what update they were included in. We have literally always been using the same quest system. Also, the Gert Mask does not have IDs, but it does have stats.

 

i once ran all the way to the creeper nest and then and only then did i notice it was unidentified xD

 

I'm pretty sure it should be unidentified when you get it..

Creeper Mask has Identifications, so it needs to be identified. The Gert Mask does not have identifications, so it doesn't need to be identified.
