Looking For Artists To Draw My Starbound Characters! (i Am Paying Quite A Lot Of Le)

Just wanted to point out how amazing you are for supporting Wynncraft artists, digital and traditional, new or old. Plus you're a Starbound player :> How are you liking Starbound 1.0? I've been playing it and it's already looking cool.
On the topic of creating art, I'm not great with art, I'm not bad either. I might be able to draw one or both of them.

Hopefully this isn't too old of a thread to do anything, but is there any limit to how much detail or anything we can add? This looks like a rather interesting thing to do and I need some form of entertainment with college starting up again. Most of the submissions I've seen so far, with some exceptions, seem rather simple. (No offense meant to those artists.)
Personally, I'd like to do a slightly more detailed one if I were to give it a shot, perhaps something along the lines of this, or this (random drawings I've done within the last year or so), but since there are so few reference photos, it would largely be improv on some details.
This is more along the lines of the artwork I do; except, obviously, some of the details like skin, clothes, etc. are hard to gather accurately from those reference pictures. So how much of that would you mind me improvising if I were to try this? (I would likely try Finn because he looks rather aquatic and I like aquatic things)

I'm not saying that whatever I make will turn out perfectly, I'd just like to give this a try to see how the result will turn out.
Also, sorry for the wall of text, was trying to make sure nothing was misunderstood.

Edit: I'm terrible at linking imgur so if those links don't work just let me know and I'll fix them as soon as I can. All you really need to know though is that I don't use colors. So if I do anything, it will be in black and white. Hope you don't mind that too much. I'm absolutely horrid at blending colors with colored pencil; I work much better with normal lead.
