Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Are you dead!?" I ask.

 

"No, I'm fine. I used a lot of magic though. I haven't created a spell like that for a while..."

 

"What did you do?" I ask.

 

"I strengthened the caves and connected them. I did it to protect the Wind Dragons in case the island collapsed. Luckily, it didn't."

 

"Oh. Well, good job on that front; I was going to feed the wind dragons and get them out." I say.

 

If anything, its gross. Enqo manages to swim accross the river of blood. The slime bubbles, urging you onwards.

 

"Well, it'll be a nice change of pace for the Wind Dragons, I guess. Sorry to force this upon you."

"If you're interested, step into the open chamber to your right. We'll get to you after a few splices."

 

Helianthus nods, and proceeds to enter the open chamber to his right.

 

"I didn't get food for them. I only changed the caves.

Enqo continues through the cave.

"It's okay. Even if you hadn't fought the large dragon, it would have collapsed the caves to try to find the Wind Dragons."

 

It closes, then slowly fills with an odd liquid. Your legs and arms lock up as you feel yourself slip away into a dormant state.

Days pass, and you slowly wake in the same open chamber, liquid drained as you sit on the floor. One of the operators signals for you to exit.

"Do you know what that was from? Possibly related to whatever unleashed a Pure Drakonshade on us?"

 

Enqo continues on, eventually finding what appears to be some kind of canyon within the cave. There are two ways, the right path and the left path.
OOC: It's a very big cave btw

Helianthus exits.

"Here, your soulcore is now your lifeline. Get permission from Mistress if you want to stow it in a vault."

 

I hold up a steak, "I got the food front covered." I say happily.

 

Helianthus nods.

As you move to the center of the palace, a wall of gold catches your eye.
...though it doesn't appear she's there, else you'd see a wall of black in front of the gold.

 

Helianthus looks around the general area.

 

"No idea where it came from, but it's likely to have been created by the 'monster creation spell' I made many millennia ago. When recover from using this spell, I'm going to have a few serious words with it."

He holds the slime in front of both paths. He checks if and when the slime bubbles.

The Wind Dragons go into a frenzy at the sight of the steak. The ones which can move fast enough try to knock the steak out of your hand before another reaches it. A small Wind Dragon manages to squeeze between two others and eats most of it in one bite, leaving a tiny piece in your hand.

 

"Well...good thing I have some more steak." I say, summoning a few more stakes and throwing them around the cave; aiming to get each steak close to one of the wind dragons.
